My Problems With Tesla

- Earlier this week Tesla announced that making trucks is "hard." After experiencing another delay in the cybertruck I decided to take a look into the past when this was initially released and started coming across articles where it was shared that this cybertruck would be a $40,000 answer to the truck market. Instead, it's anything but. Then I realized what Tesla is doing is what so many others have started to do...and it started in the video game market. Overpromising, and under delivering and i'm almost convinced the companies are just...lying. What are your thoughts?

The Tesla Cybertruck reminds me of that guy stuck in his hometown that keeps posting on IG that he's got "Something big coming.." and at some point you just want to notify his parents that he stole their coin collection back in 2016. Oh well, what're your thoughts?

Bwaaaaaaaahahahahahaha 🤣😂
Oddly specific LOL
Tesla... where late stage capitalism meets gaslighting
And they’re pushing the evil electric war agenda
This is the same issue and the reason I don't pre-order video games. I don't want to pay for a concept, I want to pay for a product
TRUTH
Haha the end where you walked off camera talking! 😂😂😂
I don't know how to end videos anymore.
@@AlexMartini.I thought it was hilarious bud! Genuinely made me laugh.
Whenever someone tells me hey I heard the cyber truck is coming out soon I literally chuckle lol
I got into an argument with a guy because I said it ain't happening before several other companies beat them to the market. Theres already two that I know of that have beaten it since that argument 3 years ago.
I'm not waiting and not interested.
I work so tesla. Trust me it's coming. Should be q2 of 2024
@@UnusualHDRNo you don’t and no it’s not.
@reneeandchrisforever bud I do. Do u need my exact workstation?
I really wanted an electric truck. The rivian is essentially exactly what I was looking for. I was really excited when Tesla announced the original event for the truck. I wanted all the Tesla tech. First time I saw cybertruck I hated it but it grew on me overtime. However over more time I think I hate it again.
My favorite thing about tesla is that a startup truck company built a better semi truck than they did in a year. Edison beat teslas capacity by 20k lbs and did it using parts you can buy at any store that sells semi parts. Everything but the e-axles and batteries are standard parts that haven't changed in 60 years.
Wasn't the Edison also a massive financial fraud?
Lol better buy stock in the stainless steel BBQ cleaners i guess?
Whatever is on sale in aisle 7.
Just use citric acid, no need for expensive cleaners...
Just buy a bucket of the powder and mix it yourself, it costs close to nothing.
Tesla designs would feel perfectly at home in a futuristic 1984 dystopia. So bland, passionless, and sterile
Truth. It’s almost depressing to look at.
They are the NPC car filling the background in a video game. There to exist but not be noticed.
That is THE UGLIEST truck i think will ever be made!
Don't @ the Aztek ya understand me?!
@@AlexMartini. But the Aztec was an SUV doesn't the CyberTruck supposed to come with a quad?🤔 That was the original picture I seen of it...
Mazda taking notes "Please support our kickstarter campaign to bring our rotary engine to the mass's!".
where did you get the skate board behind you?
Spicy Alex is best Alex
Sad part is we know if someone bought one and kept it mint in their garage for 20 years they'd make money on it because it's ridiculous lol.
I dunno, it’s been 18 years and nobody is clamoring of the Aztek lol.
“The cyber truck has a problem”
Correction the cyber truck has MANY problems.
Correction, the Cybertruck IS the problem..
Welcome to therapy, what would you say is your issue?
Cybertruck: "Everything"
Someone needed to do this video thanks mr M!
Oh man, you kicked the Musketeer beehive! In all seriousness, agreed on all points except the comparison to the Pontiac Aztek. The Aztek is timeless and a future classic 😜
Lol i rememember being hyped senior year of hs when they first announced this thing. So many things havy changed but still no cybertruck 😂
Better off waiting for a GTA6 bro
@AlexMartini. you keep talking like that you might just land yourself the next elder scrolls.
Wasn’t the DeLorean stainless steel too?
The cybertruck is already here
This video should be much more popular. Subbed.
I've seen one driving around Austin and in my opinion it doesn't look as good irl as it does on camera.
I don’t know if “as good on camera” is what this abomination should be described as lol.
Recently drove through DC, saw 2 rivians and 8 teslas
Recently drove through my pasture. Saw 18 head of steer and 347 piles of cow sh*t.
Should partner with Delorean 😊😊. And maybe stick a flux capacitor in it to go back !!
Im not interested in willingly limiting my freedom by getting an EV.
I dont get the hype around this thing from the odd look & interesting horse power I dont get from a safety part how is it safe for others drivers plus how the heck is it gonna fit in a parking alot. Supposedly the windows dont break so if the driver ever gets stuck in flood water they're in trouble
let’s not say that the ford lightning is any good, let’s not lie to ourselves.
It’s trash and also a production nightmare.
But it’s a real truck, not a pipe dream.
Aggressive cat petting
This vid is great. There’s so many rabid Musk/Tesla fans who worship at his feet for anything he does. You try to tell them this truck is a joke or ugly and the lose their ever-loving minds. Sheep following the alpha wolf. So sad, but so hilarious.
I think the worst car maker mistake is BMW i8. Almost everyone want inline 6 mid engine BMW.
Bro took 45 seconds to roast my car😢
From how we have learned to know elon musk the last ~10, 15 years, i think we can definitely conclude the cybertruck are an idea from him, that's exactly what he think is cool, it is really strange tesla spend so much time and so much recourses developing a bullet proof truck? It can't even be sold in Europe?
Wouldn't it be a MUCH better idea to improve their existing models?
Or developing a more average model millions of people could choose?
The Cybertruck's design feels more like a meme than the actual design of a production car. I think Tesla is overestimating the number of people who would like to ironically buy the world's ugliest car.
I hope the customer who takes delivery of the first Cyber truck paints it.
Salty AF, but based just as much!
Did you see the vid of joe rogan shooting it with an arrow? Ill be honest with the way the world is going...having a bullet proof vehicle even on the base model, has me interested. I do wish they offered a gas/diesel option of course
❤❤
Nissan did great with the new z, tesla should take notes
You mean the car that sold 177 units in 2022 and 466 this year? Yeah, that’s a great job lol.😂
What an adorable kitty
Back to the future
I want to love it, but we gotta stop overpromising stuff.
The manufacturing difficulties and delays aside I think the design is cool. It looks like an F117 stealth. It looks like what people in the early 80s think a pickup looks like in 2020. It looks like Marty McFly's pickup in 2030 when the Toyota SR5 hits 2,000,000 miles and has to be junked. I'm not a Elon/Tesla fanboy I just think it is badass and I was hoping to drive one or at least see one on the road.
As someone who remembers the early 80’s, nobody thought this dumpster fire is what pickups would look like in 2020.
@@reneeandchrisforever I was born toward the mid 80s so I'm not in a position to argue the point from a first person perspective. It was not my intention to establish my comment as one hundred percent fact. I was referencing the idea that many things described as futuristic in that era had the sharp, angular, Battlestar Galactica type styling that the Cybertruck has.
Sup Alex
What up dude!
It looks good
The issue with the cyber truck sheet metal issues isn’t because they haven’t gone through the growing pains like other large companies 🤦♂️ the point was to make it environment resistant and bulletproof. Tesla gives us cool shit for regular people that these boring ass manufacturers would never but somehow Tesla is boring because it doesn’t go vroom vroom. Are you guys that dense not everyone is going to turn there car into a drift car.
Wheres the tesla roadsters is been 5 years
Partner with ford 😂😂😂 stick to JDM topics
The cybertruck is just the delorean of our generation.
But the Delorean was an actual car lol.
Is it supposed to be ugly like i get wanting to make a statement but yuck. I think they is probably a reason why cars and trucks dont look like this
There’s only one manufacturer bringing my dystopian Bladerunner fantasy aesthetic to life so it’s a big two thumbs up from me
Thinking youre gonna be alive for that (if it happens) is hilarious.
Bro, hyundai is gonna have it for us. I'm telling you
hyundai right?
Tesla, building the regular traffic of the future
@@xswagavelli7652it’s called a joke
Hahahahahahah. All true.
the cyber truck is the stupid thing I've seen in the truck market. Just tesla being tesla, full of gimmicks and designs that are actually stupid. I'm looking at you, speedometer displayed on the center dash screen, you know the place you shouldn't be looking when driving? the "yoke" steering wheel, non traditional door handles. Seriously? WHAT WAS WRONG WITH DOOR HANDLES THEY JUST WORK?
I hate any vehicle that puts the gauges in the center console. Stupid gimmicky crap that’s dangerous.
When someone who owns a tiny business judges someone with hundred million dollar government contracts….bro marketing is lying. Get with the times.
When it comes to EVs, I'm actually excited about what BMW is doing.
The New Class was announced at IAA in September of 2023, with a planned release date of 2025. No shitty "preorder it and maybe we'll make it", no.
The plants in Debrecen, Hungary and Munich are being torn down, renovated and rebuilt as we speak, with production start in Debrecen slated for 2025, and Munich in 2026.
Like, they're in the process of changing basically everything. The whole area is one giant construction site (at least for Munich, I haven't seen Debrecen)
You need a hobby.
Tesla is treating new cars like they are on kickstarter.. At this point with 4 active (and popular) models they should be able to stand on their own and fund their future vehicles without preorders.
The thing that bugs me the most about tesla is Elon, he is so volatile and childish, and i worry about buying a vehicle from a brand that could implode tomorrow because of his actions. After the whole twitter thing im really turned off by the thought of owning one, when a model 3 Performance was a really likely candidate before that.
They arent selling a car, they are selling an appliance, for people that don't want to or don't care about driving. The one good thing that tesla did was the charging network, but now as many other brands are going to adopt their standard, the availability of chargers is going to go down making that moot too.
the cyber truck is literally the next delorean.
That's for people who have too much money. Most people won't buy a car over 50k. The real car guys love any car even slow Miata with 6 speed are way more fun than 500hp Tesla.
Me and my dad wholeheartedly agree that the Tesla Cybertruck is both incredilbly ugly and a car nobody wants.
Calling it now, cyber truck is going to flop harder than Rikishi at a pool party
second?
Close
Love your content but controversy ain't it bud the Tesla chuck was badly named but it's a different machine plus I can hear GM finger up your asz
I heard that Tesla autopilot had extra trouble because musk reasoned that animals can avoid collisions with eyes so his cars should only need optical sensors. Cause yea just make my car a person brain forehead
not first
wait a minute
Yeah. I saw one in person in San Jose. It's awful and niche at best. Basically Elon made and showing he's no genius but a micromanager who assumes he's one.
Be a man... drive a combustion engine
I’ve seen one cybertruck at a park near my house. My friend has seen a cybertruck.
They were the same cybertruck. There is only 1 cybertruck as far as I’m concerned
It’s not huge it just looks like it. Like realistically it’s the size of a crosstrek, a little longer maybe. But the giant wheels/tires and incredible sharp angles make it look large.
Bring back MAPerformance 🙄
They're moving from MN over to the warehouse now, did you know that?
@@AlexMartini. they probably won’t have near the same operation as before. Sad to see a company like that get essentially shut down and put on the back burner. I doubt they will keep making their in house parts once that change is in full effect 👎🏼
I’ve seen 3 different cyber trucks this week they are coming soon, just wait
But I’m not a EV person tho but it’s coming soon!!…
How about I hold onto my cash and you get venture capital money to fund your ideas. Then when you have an actual product (and not vapor-ware) I'll give you the cash and you can pay back your investors with the profits (if there are any). If you cant find a venture capital group willing to invest then maybe your idea is SH#T.
I only have one problem with Tesla.
The fact they exist.
I hate Teslas because of Elon Musk
Amen.
I’ve actually not been in a Tesla and hearing it feels like a hospital room and sterile sounds gross. But that’s true it seems passionless.
The windows broke because a corner of them broke when the door got hit with a sledgehammer. The reason why Elon won’t sell it is because, in the USA, it’s illegal for a car to not have side mirrors on the outside of the car. It’s also the reason why the McLaren Speedtail isn’t sold here either. If Elon were to want to sell it right now, the Cybertruck would need a complete redesign for aerodynamic reasons. I know it’s not the most aerodynamic vehicle, but it would likely get worse with side mirrors. Plus, it looks better without them.
Good job with those excuses sheep.
Musk is less than 13% of Tesla. He’s the face of a company. We the people put him on a pedestal that he didn’t deserve and bought the products and the might be a product and made him and his cohorts rich. Capitalism.
“We” didn’t do that, the sheep did.
@@reneeandchrisforever fair enough, I suppose I meant generally, but you ain’t wrong.
Electric cars as a whole are doomed to fail. I’m not a Tesla fan, but I’m also not an EV fan. Nobody cares anymore about 0-60 or 0-120. Real car enthusiasts have a connection to the car. Something an EV will never have nor replace.
Sheeple love Tesla
