Here for sale we have a Fender Acoustasonic Stratocaster, which when released was a groundbreaking advance in the design of acoustic guitars. Fenders Acoustic Engine delivers ten different body style and tone wood combinations, and the mod knob selects and blends voices. The Fender Acoustasonic Tele's asymmetrical bridge is intonated for optimal balance across the fingerboard, with the high quality Graph Tech TUSQ pins and nut keeping your tuning stable.
With the American Acoustasonic, Fender have captured the feel and shape of a Stratocaster whilst creating an instrument with a very unique tonal palette. The body has a contoured S Style shape and is made from mahogany and is fully hollow, with the soundhole placed traditionally in the centre of the guitar.
The Mahogany neck has a satin finish, modern C profile and a Stratocaster inspired shape, which makes it very comfortable to play. Fender have clearly thought about the practicality of this guitar and the contoured body for playing comfort and the Fender Acoustasonic Noiseless Magnetic Pickups for eliminating feedback are both very useful features.
The voicings on the guitar sound great and offer loads of versatility with realistic acoustic sounds all the way through to traditional sounding rhythmic electric sounds. Between the three pickups and the ‘Mod Switch’, this guitar is capable of a typical snappy Stratty tone all the way through to the warmth of a Auditorium shaped guitar crafted using Rosewood.
