Hi Maru, the sauce was for the Kare Kare and its shrimp paste. That's why it was salty and a little does go a long way. Loved this video!

Hi Maru!!! The crunchy things on top is chicharon, and btw some of the food is similar to Spanish cuisine because the Philippines was colonized by Spain! 😊

6:42 That sauce is shrimp paste and it is not for the Sisig... that is for the Kare-Kare, the peanut-butter beef stew, and yes it's quite salty, so a little goes a long way.

hi maru!! thank you to you and itzel for trying our food omg you both are angels! i hate picky eaters too lmao cus WHY ARE YOU CLOSING YOUR TASTEBUDS? btw, palabok is pronounced pah-lah-bok, the sauce is only supposed to be used a little bit at a time cus i think it's shrimp paste, oxtail kare kare is my absolute fav dish everrrr so happy you tried it, and the banana lumpia is called turon (tuh-ron)
