• Full Day of Eating FIL...
I love how Yvonne stole the show lol😂. It was meant to be because her nails matched the colors of that ube pandesal perfectly.
So good!
Adobo fried rice is pretty much if you have leftover adobo from dinner and you're making fried rice for breakfast. it's not a thing you make specifically, it's more of, "might as well mix it in."
no such thing as Adobo rice in the Philippines. That must have been introduced by Jollibee in America. But now Filipinos ignorant of Filipino culture assume that Adobo rice was invented in the medieval era and eaten Filipino tribal chieftains for breakfast.
19:59 i will say most pinakbet dont use fish sauce but it could be swap but the main sauce for it is bagoong na isda(different from regular bagoong) or in english fermented fish the chunks of the fish sauce where was kinda blended and kinda liquidy
Bagoong from Lingayen is the best. Pangasinan all the way...
Omg thank you for this episode!! Filipino here 🙋🏻♀️ and plan to come down soon so best believe I will be hitting some or all these spots to get my fix!! ❤
Awesome 🤙🏻 hope it hits the spot for you🤤
You Da Man Felix! Thanks for all your hard work Amanda.
Mahalo for your support and generosity! 🙏🤙
Love the sibling relationship! Yvonne is too funny! 😂
Juliz is my favorite Philippino restaurant. Adobe fried rice omelet is winnas for breakfast. Love their lechon
MARAMING SALAMAT you guyzzz for throwing some LOVE to Filipino grindz!! That surf & turf Dev ordered threw me off a bit but good food is good food. Don't forget: anytime you have pancit, squeeze lemon and with (savory) lumpia, longanisa or tocino, dip in spicy vinegar. Peace ouuuut ✌️🤙
Mahalo 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻 gotta love the spicy vinegar 🤤
It’s always good to see DaVonne 😂!! Her nails matches the bread. Hi DaVonne!
Absolutely awesome!! Can’t wait to try! 🎉
I was so surprised of how much you guys liked Filipino food especially pinakbet! You guys are legit ❤️❤️❤️
This is one of your great videos, you guys covered so much. I'm calling all my friends in California to watch this video. You guys make everybody happy when they watch your videos. With the bad things happening in this world you guys make people feel so good. Thank you guys.
We're very grateful for Foodie ohana members such as yourself! Mahalo for believing in us and enjoying the content! 🙏🤙
Good job guys! Thanks for representing Filipino food!❤
Felix on the last outtake. Belly laughing at calling out the suspicious dude.
@@user-wl5ro7jj6q 😁
@@user-wl5ro7jj6q
Dude be sneakin
😅😂
One of my early intros to Filipino food was Thelma's Special, so thanks for featuring more than one type of lechon kawali! Gotta go try all these yummy foods!! 😋
Generally the most common fried rice in the Philippines would be just the Garlic Fried Rice, whic is Sinangag.
Adobo fried rice is more of a play on Sinangag. A common thing that Filipinos do with rice is to use it to grab the last bits of sauce from saucy dishes. That might be where the concept of Adobo fried Rice came from.
Dang my mouth was watering the entire video! Awesome tour of local Filipino deliciousness 😋🤤
Definitely delicious thank for sharing your food adventures.
Oh all the foods are mouth watering..love it.
This is so mouth watering, now im hungry, 🤤
We make adobo fried rice when there's leftover adobo. My kids loves adobo fried rice.
Gotta love da left ova adobo in fried rice🤤🤤🤤🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Thanks for the coverage guys, we are heading there next month to see my relatives and will definitely try them all. Aloha from San Diego!
Mahalo! 🤙
That tocino from Thelma’s added on to the adobo fried rice from Julie’s with two eggs, longganiza, a cup of coffee with cream and sugar and that pancake too will be my greatest breakfast ever guys!!!😍
That sounds like a breakfast of champions 🤤🇵🇭🤙🏻
So happy you guys featured all these Filipino restaurants! I now know where to go when I’m back in Oahu very soon🤙🏼yes Amanda, breakfast w/ vienna sausage, rice and egg is also very nostalgic for me altho I can go for longsilog any time. Kare-kare and pinakbet are my go-tos when I crave Pinoy food and yes, Felix can’t have kare-kare w/out the bagoong :)
Also, try sinigang the next time if they serve it somewhere…it’s a soup simmered usually with pork that’s tangy with calamansi, our version of lemon (my mouth is watering writing this…:)
Aloha Amanda & Felix, I'm cracking up when da sista Vonne grab da bag and how she took over for few seconds and your face Felix hahaha, love it. To the viewers, come on like and subscribed to this channel!
Mahalo for the support! 🤙
wow everything looks so yummy missing my hawaii family the gamiao love this food galore in the island thank u for trying them all
Mahalo Odette🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Saw your video and went to Thelma’s to satisfy my lechon craving and had the same combo.
Like you, I missed the okra in the pinakbet. The Thelma’s Special was so ono! Will try the Tocino Pork the next time.
Y'all picked the best ones! Mabuhay!
As usual, y'all are great.
Mahalo! 🤙

I see that u really love our food (its genuine not other blogger I watched)so I'm ur new subscriber🎉🎉
Love from Philippines❤❤
Awe Yvonne. Mixed up the assignment today. Suposed to order Filipino food. Not prime rib. 😂
The Dinaguan and the Pork Gisantis and the Pancit is my favorite from Elena’s plus the buffet comes with a lot of the best variety of food!
My mouth is watering..yum.
🤤
What’s good Foodie Ohana!!! Starting an episode with dessert? You guys have my heart already! I was in a diabetic coma when you started eating the onolicious plate foods. Everything looked so legit. I’m so glad to see you and miss you guys! If I want to send you some Arizona swag, where can I send it? Love you guys so much! 🤙🏽❤️🧁🍩🍰🐷🐖🌴
You're too kind Armando! 🙏 we currently don't have a p.o box but will update you if that changes! Mahalo for your kindness and support! 🤙♥️
Sinangag is fried rice
Sinigang is the sour soup dish
She had me at pinakbet! 😂
For the lumpia at Allasandra’s get the vinegar for the Shanghai and Vegetable lumpia. I prefer it better than the sweet sauce. Mabuhay for this video. We frequent most of the places you went to 😊
I cannot wait to go to Hawaii to try Filipino food there. Aloha!
Love you guys..👍😊❤️
Hope you make it back to London because one of my favorite restaurants there is the Filipino restaurant Kasa & Kin in SOHO. Great take on Filipino classics with a European twist.
That sounds very interesting!
Damn, you guys are making me drool!! I love my Filipino food.
Such a cool Usagi Yojimbo shirt!
Mahalo! 🤙
That's my old Dr.'s office right behind you across from Nandings. I had to go to Nandings after every Dr. visit. 😂😊❤
Juliez really do got the best pancakes out there hands down
SO SO ONO 😋 DELICIOUS 🤙 😂🤣 I ALL WAS LOVE THE ENDING SO FUNNY STAY BLESS GUY'S
Mahalo Florence 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Come to Maui and do a food blog too. I enjoyed it very much. Guess what? I live in Maui for over 30 years. I come to Oahu often and never heard or tried Nandings, Tiano, Juliez and Thelma. Omgee 😅
JULIEZ, my favorite usually drive down twice a month from Kalihi Valley. I certify the pancakes-made from scratch. Price is right- no paper plates here.
We’re so glad we got to finally try Julie’Z after hearing so many good things🤤
Enjoy the food 👍❤️🥰🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 Stay safe always 🙏❤️
Amazing food thanks for the great videos... Felix brave wearing white...... Also where did you get the Usagi Yojimbo shirt???
Masarap!!!
Whew yu'all makin me hungree.
I luv pinacbet, too!
Goes well with anything!
Thanks!
Mahalo Patricia for continuing to support us🩷🤙🏻
Amanda get the big bite down. 😋
Felix, you need to let go of the lumpia/turon bag at 16:56. Carefully put it down, nice and slow, on the table unless there's a seabird lurking around. 🤩
Hi, Da Von! Looked so ono!
Mahalo Cheryl 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Of course!
Look delicious I love eat
Can't wait to try the pinoy eats over there soon! Did you guys happen to check your email regarding merch designs? Thank you!
Sadly my first exposure to Filipino food was very dry pork adobo.
Yummy
Greetings from Redondo Beach 🇺🇸🇺🇸Nice food tour video🌷🌷
Mahalo! 🤙
Yvonne is awesome. Do y’all get out together on your recent health kick? It’d be cool to see the crew exploring some of the great hiking in Oahu.
I’m kanaka but lived in the Philippines for a couple years during college! When I got home, I never got to try many places before moving to the mainland. Thank you for this guide! Can’t wait to try these spots on my next trip home this year ❤️ Ang galing nyo!!
The Spanish Roll at $1.40 and considered cheap.
Here in Ph it costs only at $.17 at that size. You must be really enjoying life if you have the money here in Ph.
Bulldose makes my filipino ancestors smile😂
Every trip to the island… first stop is Nandings! 🎉
🙌
Usually u spread the butter all over the pancake and then add the syrup. She did da podagee style first🤣
You have to eat the karekare with homemade shrimp paste w/ rice. 👌
That was great! Thanks for letting us tag along! Mmmahalo!
Mahalo Eric! 🤙
I LOVE PIANONO!!!
Adobo fried rice is also served in some Filipino restaurants here in California. And the Spanish roll we call the senorita bread. Really popular in a chain of bakeries called Starbread Bakery.
How cool!
The Spanish roll is called Spanish bread here in the Philippines, so good to eat it freshly baked and with hot coffee even in the humid weather, from Cebu Philippines by the way. Love the vid❤
clearly Filipinos in California are the best in creating Filipino cuisine inspired American dishes. No such thing as Adobo fried rice or adobo rice. As for what is actually called Spanish Bread and not Spanish Roll, that thing is just Sugar overload and some lard or margarine. No one in the Philippine bakeries selling bread to the middle class will use butter as filling to a bread.
Thank you amanda for trying filipino food how about jollibee
What's up Foodie Ohana 😋 🤙
What’s up Walt 🤙🏻
@@AmandaFelixEats another day in paradise.
Thank you for this video. I love a lot of various Filipino dishes. You went to all of the great places. That ube roll from Nanding’s is awesome. I feel like I gained 10 pounds just watching the three of you enjoying all the yummy food. Take care and blessings💖🙏🌺💖💖
Much mahalo Patricia! We’re so happy we got to showcase all the Filipino🇵🇭 ono grindz🤤
Loved this vid! Thanks for featuring Filipino food! My favorite ff is kare-kare w/ bagoong, but I also love Thelma's Special.❤️
So good! 🤤
Fleix FYI when it comes to lumpia you can tell the difference by the shape. Shanghai is usually long & skinny, vegetable is short, wide & round and the Turon short, wide & flat
Pro tip! Mahalo! 🤙
They eat pancakes in the Philippines. Because it was a territory, it has many common American dishes pre-WWII, with their own variations.
Very interesting! 👍
Thank you for featuring filipino food again. I’m drooling from all the desserts you guys had. Watching from San Francisco.
Much mahaloz🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
looks so good, enjoy
Mahalo🤙🏻🤙🏻
Yes! Love that u guys featured Filipino food! Everything you ordered looks so good! Making me crave it!
Mahalo! 🤙
Awesome video as always! I just got back from the Philippines 🇵🇭, so much fun and yummy food everywhere
Sounds like a great trip 🇵🇭🤙🏻
used to love elenas then I got introduced to thelmas food. THELMAS IS THE BEST in my opinon.
I like to eat pok adobo 3 times a week. The hard lean pok in the clear type broth.
With rice and chili peppers 🍚🌶️
🤤🤤
Longanisa has two variants.
The Sweet one and the Garlic pepper one.
Which is what she already said
@@lizvickers7156In 10:28 she said sweet longanisa and ?Vinegar Longanisa?
There's no such thing as vinegar longanisa as far as I know.
There's a sweet one and the Garlic salty one.
I get spicy Cebu style longanesa!
Mahalo from Vegas
Mahalo! 🤙
pilipino food in Hawaii the same here in rhe Philippines..
😋😍
🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
😋😋😋😋
🙌🤙
🥰🥰🥰
Im pretty sure Hawaii is part of Philippines there are so many Filipinos there
Hawaii is not a part of the Philippines. However, you are correct about the fact that lots of Filipinos live there.
Filipina here and loving this video, just in time for my Oahu trip in 30 days! Nandings was already on my list, but definitely adding on JulieZ and Thelmas! Been following you guys since February and there are just too many good restaurants to visit in the 8 days we will be there!
'Thelma's Special' is da bomb !
We hope you like them! 🤤🤤🤤 mahalo for watching🤙🏻
Makes me so happy that you guys are so informed about the different dishes and different ingredients used! Now it's making me crave Filipino food too! Pinakbet for the win!
Mahalo for the kind words 🥰🤙🏻 we hope we represented it correctly 🙌🏼
I really appreciated how you guys visited and highlighted the most popular filipino spots on the westside. There are so many others but you guys touched on a bunch of the mains one. 🙏🏽
Yum yum yum!😊
🤤🤤🤤
Mabuhay! Perfect episode for this summer trip. Always love seeing your two enjoy all of the ONO eats. Mahalo, Amanda & Felix.
