Listen, I love Steve as much as everyone else here. His philanthropic stuff was great content, fun to watch and he was doing good.
That being said, you have to acknowledge that the amount of gambling he promoted to his channel (of mostly young demographic) inevitably has to have some downstream negative impacts to society. A good chunk of his videos were him at casinos etc.
CZcams is very finicky with its rules, and sometimes unfair, but I truthfully don't believe it was wrong to do what they did.
His lavish lifestyle and great conscience he got to experience (through bringing joy to underprivileged with donations) was funded by an industry that is very predatory and bad for society.
If you cannot agree with what I've stated then you are simply too die hard of a fan for Steve or unable to think objectively.
I honestly hope somehow he bounces back (because I truly love his content), but he needs to cut out the gambling promos. Find other sponsors. The problem is, the gambling ones pay verrrrrrryyy well. And I fear that was an essential (likely the biggest) part of his businesses revenue.

I can't fathom how shit the last few months would have been for Steve. I had a channel die at 60k, nothing on 7m. He's holding up so fucking well. Not that exceptions should be made, but I think he deserves some leniency. He's done so much good. Showing a few fkin' pokies and some wild gambling really isn't a crime.

CZcams need some form of review process where once the creator reaches a certain number of subs the video is uploaded, then reviewed by someone at CZcams and "Approved" before going live.. that way if there is an issue creators don't lose their livelihoods and actually receive construction and timely feedback on uploads. Would fix this whole situation.
