Yeah I was happy with the Dunlop tires, gone from South coast to Scotland and back again wore them down and now I've got pilot sixes on because I know that tire, but I didn't find much wrong with the dunlops. My chain's not gone. Rusty yet. Heated grips yep, I fitted those as soon as I bought the bike. I did buy a new screen but it was just a dark tint, That's it. I use the alpinestars r10 helmet so the aerodynamics on that are perfect, so i don't need a taller screen. I absolutely love this bike and after 5 to 6,000 revs it is an absolute animal.
I bought this bike last month and love the bike. I will be changing the tires after I run these down a little. I have a Honda ST1300 and have the Michelin 6s and love those tires. They do make a great difference. I live in Texas and have not seen rust on my chain and sprocket as of yet. Great vid I like watching rides from other places and countries.
Thanks for the honest review. I test drove the BMW XR over a year ago! I can easily afford the XR so price was a very tiny factor for me.. then I test drove a 2022 GT a few months after that! By the time I got to 3rd gear on the GT my mind was made up! I ordered the 2023 model Suzuki GSXS1000GT+ early last year, got it a few months later and have had more fun than anyone should ever have over 15 thousand kms in less than a year.. that's saying something coming from a Tracer 900 which was an excellent bike! I totally agree about the tyres. The stock Dunlops slid on everything except warm pavement (triggering traction control alot) here in Northern Ontario.. so I put on a set of Avon Spirits which completely woke the GT's handling and cornering right up!
Enjoyed that video, some valid points, especially the heated or lack of heated grips as standard. I know that Suzuki did an heated grips as an offer at tye start of the year. So makes you wonder if they know the mistake.
"Short and sweet" 😄 Nice review, love the scenery and chat, feels like we are sitting on the back.

I bought this as my first bike. I love it. What do different tires do betterturns ,in not sure because I've never had another bike?
