Set a view you like with the mouse and record it with Ctrl + Alt (left one) + a number 1, 2, 3 up to 9 (I think, mabye 8). Then you can retriew it with Alt (left one) + a number. Great scenery and well done on the landings.
    If I may ask, why is it in takeoff mode when you are in a landing? GS is not displayed on the PFD (only LOC). If you notice on the memo display, it appears TO INHIBIT and your speed is really fast. It keeps engaged the TO mode instead of the LAND mode.
    Is it MSFS or the fbw mode? Or maybe because you haven’t load a FROM/TO flight and you are then unable to activate the APPR phase.
    Thanks for the answer.
    For the rest, great software and scenery!

    • @Easyjetsimpilot
      @Easyjetsimpilot  Před 3 lety +1

      Thank you & yes, the scenery looked great. Will certainly visit there again!
      There are some bugs with the FMA. It should of course have green GS & LOC but this appears to be missing at the moment.
      Another bug is the ECAM saying TO INHIBIT as of course, it should be landing.
      You can activate the APPR phase & then the aircraft aims for the green dot speed. However, at the moment, the managed mode thrust Vapp is a little fast compared to real life. You can of course set this manually if you wish, I just left it for the sake of this tutorial.

    Thank you so much, i have been looking eveywhere for something like this to practice my landings
    if Possible can you look into a solution for taxi speed using NeoNX, it keeps going up and up with the (throttle in idle), so i have to use use the brakes to slow the aircraft all the time , it does not look nor feel real or nice, with MS FX used to be a little program that controls the taxi speed so you can set the speed to whatever you like (ie 20) and the program keeps the AC at that speed.
    thank you so much once again for the fantastic job you are doing with the simmers and for your time. much appreciated

    • @Easyjetsimpilot
      @Easyjetsimpilot  Před 2 lety +2

      Actually, the taxi issue is a real life issue. The A320 will gain speed under idle thrust. This is why a lot of the time, operators use a single engine taxi to help control the speed.

    • @iitzfizz
      @iitzfizz Před rokem

    • @Easyjetsimpilot
      @Easyjetsimpilot  Před 3 lety

      The FMGS will not prevent you from descending into terrain. That is your job as a pilot using charts.
      Vnav will not be implemented for a while yet. You can still use the FMGS to decent and respect the relevant constraints surrounding terrain.
      All Vnav does is decent you at the most appropriate descent rate and speed. However, you can calculate this manually.

    Great video! However, when I set my flight up I am only about 4 nm from my destination airport. Tried several airports with the same result. Also, I have the Logitech Cessna yoke and I am having real difficulty in setting the sensitivity up correctly to make flying easy. I have tried your settings and various others but the yoke is not smooth there seems to be a slight snatch when I tried to correct my flight so the aircraft will suddenly either jump up/down or right to left. This is especially noticeable during the latter stages of the flight when making the approach/landing. I have temporarily gone back to using my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick and this is much smoother in operation. Wonder if you have any suggestions on what to try next?
    I used the yoke with x-plane 11 and it was nowhere near as switchy in operation (but took a bit to get it right) so have to assume the hardware is OK.

    Thanks for the great tutorial! Everything worked for me, but I was getting an annoying "Don't Sink" message all the way down, although my speed was at and sometimes way above V app. Also the "retard" message doesn't go away after landing and just keeps going... I'm on dev branch of FBW A320, maybe this is what's causing this

    There’s a very sticky sound when you talk. You sound dehydrated and your saliva is so sticky, when that happens drink some water mate. Shit is irritating.
