Can you gift me the old SC Project 😅
@@gonbikes it has sold
@@motocorn Everything is very expensive in the Turkish market 🥲Thanks.
I bought a Zard Exhaust, quick question is your exhaust hitting the swing arm when it's just on the kickstand?
It is not @@clarencearriola
Gonna go ahead and like this immediately because Ik it's gonna be dope!!! Trying to get my friend to install an exhaust on his street triple, and he's the one that sent me your vids to watch since I told him I want a trident
Thank you! He should absolutely add an exhaust!!!
You’ll love the trident for sure!
Thanks for the SC exhaust homie! The new zard looks and sounds so clean!
Ive the moto2 still can't believe it !! Really loving these videos mate !
New Exhaust sounds great!
Thank you for this video! Im soon purchasing a 2024 RS and couldnt decide on what exhaust I wanted to purchase for it. (I legit normally purchase the exhaust before even bringing the bike home, LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES + plus who wants to sound like a sowing machine lol) The Zard is by far the best looking because it doesnt leave behind that awkward space that most of the others do. And now after hearing it in your videos, i know the 2022 header and Zard slip on is what im purchasing. Thanks mate!
Zard exhausts are among the best touch you can give to your beloved motorcycle
Amazing, bro. Sound like a plane.
always love Zard!
I am looking to buy it. But, which one do you got one?
Is that Homologated or Db Racing?
oh I'm glad I've waited to put an exhaust on now.....
I cannot wait for a full exhaust to come out for these bikes!
Spark makes one. I have it on my 2024 RS
@@RadDadisRad wait really? A full system that fits no issues?
@@CraterLakey yes, has a spool bracket on the rear to attach the can to the rear hanger, has a lower header bracket mount to connect to the frame. GTR0501T+GTR8502+SKIT112 is the combined part numbers required for it to fit a 2024.
@@RadDadisRad thanks man. I'm sure it sounds great
How do you like it? Crazy loud? Drone? I have a '24 also.@RadDadisRad
Yeah, I'm not loaded either, I also just buy dumb sh*t like bikes and things for bikes! 😂. Exhaust looks really clean though man, love the lines.
I went for the Akrapovic as it ties in good with the colours of the bike and a bit more of a traditional race bike look, but I was really tempted by this Zard especially as you can ditch the pillion pegs or exhaust hanger.
Looks good and nice little video!
I’ve got a Sonic Yellow RS on order and arrives in October and have been investigating exhausts, have had my mind on a Black Titanium Zard for a while now but this video has just confirmed I’ll be ordering one before my bike arrives! 👌🏼
Do it! Im annoyed i didnt do it sooner!
I would wait. I am also waiting for my '24 RS to come, i think it depends on where you come from. I dont know If australian/ American Models differ from the european Models, but the european Models seem to have other exhausts. The Downpipe, Cat and muffler are ONE piece. I think you should Check this first before you order.
@@andreashofmeister1590 In like 8 previous videos, I explain that in order to run any exhaust on the 2023/2024 STRS, you need to get a full system. Wether its aftermarket headers, or 2017-2022 headers, any slip-on will work :)
@@motocorn yes, I have been following that. But I think the biggest problem will be that it will probably no longer be Euro 5, but only Euro 4. As far as I know, it's no longer legal in Europe/Germany.
@@andreashofmeister1590 Ahh I see
You notice performance issues without remap ?
Great job! :>)
It sounds good. Like toce exhaust
Hey! Thanks for the video. Got this pipe as well but the stainless steel version. Getting way too much burble (for me at least) on overrun. Not pops or backfire, just heavy burbles. You getting this as well?
This thing does talk back! I love it haha. Dont think its bad for the bike. Cars do the same thing when you put free flowing exhausts on them.
@@motocorn Alright, I shouldn't worry then. I just feel sometimes that I (it) is being a bit too obnoxious. 😅 Thanks so much for your reply, it has put my mind at ease. Much appreciated! 😊
Aloha Brah😂, I was able to get the mid pipe in by lubing the rubber grommet and using a rubber mallet.
Ahhhhh I probably should have tried that!
go corn go corn
Do they make the Zard full system for the 2024 Street Triple RS? Where do you get it from? Thanks. Been looking for any options
Their full system is in development. This is for the 2022 model!
So all that is needed is the header itself, the header heat shield, and gasket/hardware to mount the headers? Or were you able to reuse the gasket/mounting hardware from your 2024? I wanna put this on my moto2!
So, with the zard in particular, the only thing needed is the Headers, and the headsheild on the side (though it's not 100% needed right away). The Zard comes with its own clamp so no need for that. since the bike is so new, I did not use new gaskets on the block to the header.
Thanks!@@motocorn I know that Zard is coming out with a full exhaust Sept15th but I'rd rather not tune my bike.
Did you use your stock monolitic headers or these are from 2022 765?
These are Stock 2021 headers :)
This RS looks SO good... Also I would love you rationale for choosing the RS over the R, if you tried both. I have the Trident, and Street will definitely be my next, just don't know which one to take (i won't do much track, mostly twisties and commuting)
Hey there! My buddy and I got our hands on the only 2024 Street triple R and RS in our city. I’ve got the R and have put about 3,000 miles on it so far. I’ve ridden both and can say pretty extensively that the difference between the two if you are looking for mainly street riding is very minimal. We rarely notice the 10hp difference, the ride height on the R is slightly more comfortable during our long rides, the suspension difference is noticeable as the RS feels a bit more stiff and tuned but that’s not to say the R does the job fantastically as well. If there were two RS’s for sale then I probably would have purchased an RS solely for the color options and the collector side of me. But I am extremely happy with my R. If price is a big part of your decision then I would go with the R. I was sad the R didn’t have the belly pan or the bar end mirrors but purchasing both and fitting them to my bike has cured that sadness right up. For road use only I’d say both are awesome options but I would lean towards the R if you are on a budget. It has been an incredible bike thus far.
I can completely agree with what @kalemeis594 said. However, for the extra couple of grand, the upgrades are super worth it. The suspension and brakes alone are worth more. Factor in the TFT display and all the other little bits and it kinda makes it a no brainer. However, I can assure you, you'd be just as happy to ride the R.
@@kalemeis594 @motocorn thanks guys!
Do it for the Stylema brakes. You can fit race tires and turn the knob to 19 or leave it on 21 for street tires. That’s what I do. It’s super flexible and fun. I added heated grips, cruise control and TPMS. Love that I can look down and see how much heat I’m putting into the tires by checking the tire pressures.
@@kalemeis594Hi. I am in New Zealand and have the last of the black edition of the 2022 765R. I fitted a titanium zard exhaust to this bike as the black zard was to much black. Got a racing filter a remap and fueling and dyno done 122hp to the back wheel. Also had a YSS Track Day Racing shock made for this bike fitted Also had a upgrade kit fitted to the front showa shocks. And had racing pads fitted to 4.32 brakes. The Ohlins shock on the new RS is a Oem shock made on behalf for triumph and doesn't perform like a genuine Ohlins it needs to be upgraded by a shock specialist .
I see this video is 7 mos old, but I have a quick question....
I have a 24 street triple, just replaced a Racefit growler X with the same Zard system you have here. I had the same issue with having to remove the rubber bushing lol. I just test rode the bike for 15 minutes and love how it sounds. My question is - did you notice a plastic burning smell, and slight bit of smoke from the exhaust after the bike is off? Thought it may be normal break in, but now I am second guessing, possibly some packing material was in the connecting tube :/ - just curious if you had a similar experience? THX!
Hey congrats on the zard! Yes, the plastic burning weird smell is absolutely normal and mine went away after maybe 100 or so miles. It’s nothing to worry about and completely normal :)
@@motocorn - Thanks for responding so quickly! Now I have some peace of mind.
I'm looking to replace my Racefit growler X also, as it's way too loud. How did you find the noise difference between the Racefit growler X and your new Zard?
@@reddpill - the racefit was 140dB - that's just asinine. I've not measured the Zard yet, but my best guess is it's about 110-120 dB, much throatier, deeper growl. It's the sound I was searching for. I also had an SC Project on my 2018 765RS, the Zard is not as loud as that exhaust either.
@reddpill what headers did you use? think i've settled on this zard exhaust, now i need to figure which headers. (annoyed at this full weld, but what are you gonna do?) was considering spark stainless steel or 21/22 oem.
That’s a lot of totes 👀
i got this zard racing version system, then i have to switch to homologated version lol....racing one sounds good but it's too loud to my taste😅
Out of curiosity did you follow the break in period for your street triple? I’ve been trying to but been doing a few pulls here and there
The only thing I didn't to was redline it haha. Just enjoy it!
Did you have to buy a header to a previous model before installing zard?
I wondered this myself, had been told you can’t just fit a rear exhaust on the 2024 model
Yes, I grabbed a stock 2022 header so I wouldnt have to tune it
I’m waiting for a yoshimura option to become available personally
I’m definitely doing the same, or a bigger can for sure
SC project was a bit too loud huh? This one looks so much better
Not too loud! Just wanted to change the style and I love the zard on my trident
Prévu pour street 2023? Et collecteur fourni????
Ngl. I saw it in an another video of yours. The bike was not as full droop. You literally has it lifted by the swing arm. That’s all lol. Not to be toxic. Picking up my ‘29 ST RS tomorrow at work “I work at a triumph dealer”
If you saw it in another video then you must have read the comment that also said the same thing. Either way, i would have reported if there was a problem, right? 29 huh? You sure its not a 24? Not to be toxic. (completely kidding. CONGRATS!)
@@motocorn haha I have no idea how that happened. Yea a ‘24 lol. Same color as yours as well. It’s awesome you answered this fast
@@joshuaforsythe8510 Haha all good.
Awesome! Silver is the best IMO. Red and Yellow are cool but im a simple man. Plus my trident is the same color haha.
is that a panamerica in the background ?
BMW F850GSA :)
@@motocorn right on!!!!
Make a video on akrapovic exhaust
Im not a fan of those
Omg… it is so dark inside , i can t See anything from the exhaust 😬
This years videos will be much better
Do you realise you’re working in the dark and we can’t see what’s happening ?
Turn your brightness up
@@motocorn turn your garage lights on lol
@@ericjohnson1472 they are!
You are using CIRCLIP (pronouced Sir,clip) pliers to remove the circlip. Circlips are also known as pingfuk clips. For when you are trying to put a small one on and it slips off with a 'ping', aw FUK!
'promosm' 😕
"full droop, wheel's off the ground" LOL There's no droop... paddock stand lifting same as if it were setting on the tire.
Good point. didnt think about that haha. Still not a problem with the exhaust
That's good. Sounds great!. @@motocorn
