When I was learning to fish off piers my uncle would say if you hook up to dolphin cut the line.🤷
Nowadays that's a big no no now you hold your spool don't let no drag out and the line will break at the leader knot. People finally learned that fishing line is a death sentence for marine life and sea birds. Change for the good
