Y’all know Ksi can knock both Jake and Tommy out though.
Its so sad for JJ, the whole match was shadowed by that one elbow. Everyoneonly cares about that elbow than the fact that JJ would've surely won even without that elbow
1st of all, he litterally pivoted Joe into the elbow with his left hand.
2nd, you don't win a boxing match in the first 2 rounds out of 6. There are plenty examples of fighter dominating the first few rounds only to get knocked out in later rounds. So there is no reason the be "sure he would have won"
3th, He hit the elbow almost immediately after Joe started to slowly find his rythem and started to get a feel for KSI timing.
And before you go "he rocked him with... blablabla" fact remains that we will never know what happened if he hadn't elbowed his opponent. But the way he talks about it, there's no way it was an accident.

KSI's stance actually reminds me of WT Taekwondo with his left arm down and right on the chest. I like to think he incorporates Taekwondo style footwork to keep light on his feet.

@The Stranger not necessarily true, in boxing this style does not work ,it only works against amateurs fighters and slow fighters but not against a pro young fighter that knows about boxing ,traditional boxing will always be the best for boxing ,that’s why even mma fighter when they fight against a boxer in a boxing match they end up always loose and viceversa ,simple because they are using two different fighting styles .

A lot of people have a problem with the elbow but Fournier fell into the clinch and tried to jump on him awkwardly which resulted in the elbow. I think it goes both ways the way thing played out

The problem with the stance is against someone like Tommy Fury, who utilizes his jab a lot and doubles/triples it. If I was KSI I'd look at the Jake fight and the Jordan Grant fight.
His team definitely gonna make him take different approach cuz this stance worked with Joe mainly cuz he is short and slow with tommy who is fast and tall they definitely gonna take different approach

Every fight he punches opponents in back of the head, he has big problems with boxing fundamentals and they're not getting corrected due to training in a MMA gym.
I believe the elbow was an accident but the elbow happened because he isn't technically skilled.

I find it hilarious when people are calling KSI an awkward fighter, KSI is basically what Tank Davis said to Rolly, "You're not an awkward fighter. You're a dumbass fighter". His recent bout against Joe Fournier displayed many faults in his boxing, such as fighting with his hands low, punching wild shots, bouncing and using unnecessary movement across the ring, breathing through his mouth, lack of composure and many more faults. Honestly, he didn't look good and I was expecting shot-control, jab work, and improvements of defence from his last fights.
He looks like an easy fight for someone like Tommy Fury. Tommy Fury himself said KSI is too gung-ho, rushes in, and isn't calculated. I honestly do not even picture a possibility where KSI beats Tommy Fury unless he fights on the PBA, without sanctioning and is permitted to continue throwing illegal back-of-the-head punches which dazzles Tommy like he does with his previous opponents.

His style has worked against low level opponents, guys who ethier just started or are just too slow. Once he fights someone who KNOWS boxing, etc it's a wrap. Jj himself said that his legs are both defensive and offensive, when you take those attributes away what else does he have?
His fundamentals clearly aren't all there compared to someone like a Kenny, Deji, Gib, etc. His karate style although looks ok bouncing in & out, his combinations need a lot of work.
It's cool that Jj has found a place where his natural attributes are being focused on but in boxing it's much more than that, sure him training in a MMA gym made him look better but if he was to train in a boxing gym his fundamentals would there.
Kenny And Deji are honestly shit, he beat swarmz but it exposed his style, Deji cannot handle pressure, he simply would lose if hes pressured, and deji cant stop a counter punch if his life was dependant on it.

Shootfighters a good place to train. The coaches there know what they are doing and mvps a very good teacher, his kick boxing classes are insightful to say the least.

Jj has the right nickname. “The Nightmare”. In most of his fights he’s so Hated, but he surprisingly destroys his opponents. One loss could change a CZcamsrs career. Jj is just him tbh.
People seem to forget tommy is trained to go 12 rounds and now he only has 8 he has no reason to take his time he will go 100% the entire 8 easily

KSi is slower than Jake, (not saying he's not more athletic) and will gas out much quicker, Tommy will keep him at distance effortlessly, id even predict a TKO for Tommy in round 4-5 just by how gassed KSI would be by then. Jake may like a bit of overhand spam, but he knows when and how to slow down when he has to.

I think tommy is too experienced for ksi or jake. He can react to their punches well because of how long he’s been in the sport and has a great Jab and reach. KSI’s only chance to win is if he can get a miracle KO early on.

It's be interesting cause it'll be something Tommy has never fought before. And the worry would be Tommy having long arms having the ability to jab where he moves forward throwing multiple jabs before going for a right hand. Though Tommy's hardest punch is his straight right. If I was KSI I'd watch the Tommy against Jake and Jordan Grant. Plus there is some things that has been exposed from Tommy a few times.
Jake was able to find great success with the left hook, when Tommy is against the ropes he tends to try and slip the uppercut. KSI will have to lay out traps for Tommy and keep him on the back foot. Force him to make mistakes because despite Tommy have experience he is still at the amateur level and is learning on the job. The hard part for Tommy is as I said, it's a weird strange style he would have to train for as it's not traditional and compared to Jake, KSI does have better footwork along with throwing more combinations.

KSIs new technique isn’t really a technique. Its conditioning + lack of fear, both are excellent qualities. However, he is still widely inaccurate, back of head shots, now an elbow. He’s supposed to be the best but chooses to not train like a boxer.
Thing is
He didn’t even beat joe fairly
He threw him to the ground when he tried to clinch him the first time (not boxing and should’ve been a warning)
He hit him in the back of the head 2-3 times (could’ve been a point deduction if he wasn’t the owner of misfits and the fight was a exhibition bout)
And finally the elbow ( 100% would’ve been a point deduction for ksi)
If he fight tommy they need a ref who hasn’t been on these misfits events cause they’re clowns and have no idea what they’re doing in a boxing ring if he cheats against Tommy and steals the career of a young boxer he should be retired from the sport instantly
It's the same style as Michael Venom page. The karate stance is good for boxers who have knockout power.

i feel like his latest fight he's shown the biggest hole in his game, which is his accuracy and I know accidents do happen in combat sports but if you re-watch his fights ksi misses alot of punches which is he wants to fight tommy fury, he shouldn't really be doing, and once ksi accuracy goes up i believe he'll knock out jake paul and has a way higher chance of winning to tommy fury (still think tommy wins that fight though)
