Letâs just accept the fact that Pineda is just a regular guy that got put in that ring for the quick bag, he got overwhelmed by nerves and ended up embarrassing himself.

To be fair though, most of his swings were extremely wide and clapped the back of the head. Which is illegal in boxing.
He leaned in to dodge the punches, which led to those punches 'sometimes' landing on the backside of his head. Don't complain if you don't know how to properly dodge a punch. That first bodyshot completely did him in and he was scared to get hit after that.

I have been boxing the past few years and can say without a doubt Pineada was looking for a WAY OUT he should know by now that if a punch lands behind your ear thatâs on him not ksi they werenât back of the head shots he just had terrible head movement

I feel like Pineda was not able t showcase his skills properly. He was overwhelmed. The crowd got him and he definitely underestimated KSI. If we look closely the first punch which was a body shot JJ threw really hurt him. he underestimated JJ's power. after that body shot he ran in the ring like a chicken trying to avoid any contact and then complain about the punches hitting him on the back of his head.
If I remember correctly before the fight when he was in the Ring he looked worried I feel like the crowd really got to him since he is out of his element and in a foreign country where he can't even understand the spoken language.

tbf he was only able to do this because pineda is levels below and didnt have a way to counter. tommy fury would have easily pieced his way thru this as he did with jake paul. Ksi only got close to winning the way he did because of the way he fought unconventionally.
Pineda was in the wrong, he is always having his head facing to the point where if you through a right hook it will hit him in the nose and the left will hit the back of the head. It's almost like he also looks away whenever there is a hook incoming to protect his face and ends up hitting him in the back of the head.

I think if ksi fought like this against tommy with a very amateur arms up and landing power punch style he would of probably been outboxed badly. That ballet dancing đ that ksi did just threw tommy off and gave ksi more chance to win.
