High Performance Technical Outerwear: Helikon-Tex Outback Collection Field Review

- I have had the opportunity to test many products from Helikon-Tex. The more and more I review their gear, the more and more impressed I get. In this video we take a look at some outerwear from the Outback Lineup and try them out in the field. Joe from Survival_Attitude had the opportunity to test out the Blizzard Pants and the Merino Wool Hat. I tested out the Blizzard Jacket in combination with the Cumilus Heavy Fleece. These products are meant for all day comfort, durability, and do a great job regulating moisture and temperature. Highly Recommended!

Thanks...yea Joe and I are teaming up for some videos...mostly for The Out of Doors series, but he'll be involved in reviews from time to time. Looking for a system to use while thru hiking the AT. What are your thoughts on using these?
I am a huge fan of the Outback Hybrid Pants. I think you would find those to have excellent features that would be comfortable and helpful on a long journey. I think the Blizzard series is solid, but maybe not optimum for such a prolonged trip...you could definitely find more efficiently weighted outerwear. So the pants, yes, but the rest for the AT I don't think is the most efficient...just my opinion.

Fist time I've seen someone strap a picnic basket on for a hike.
That's a traditional pack basket...not my style, but it works very well!
