Even without watching the All 22 you could see Quincy’s impact. He was making plays all over! Watching you break it down though, it’s even more impressive. I always viewed Quincy as a guy we kept around to keep Quinnen happy; a high character, high motor guy who was bound to make some exciting hits and some disappointing fuck ups i.e. missed tackles and blown coverages. But now he’s really shown his growth. Great coverage, great angles and great tackling. Absolutely awesome to see. I thought Mosley’s age showed a bit this game, I think that trading back up into the second round next year to get a high caliber LB to replace him would really cap off an already spectacular defense.
Quincy did overshoot a couple times in the first quarter. I don't know if you caught that or not, Luke. After he had that talk with the linebacker's coach. That long talk on the sideline which was all on camera in the live game. He got real tight and good after that. In the first quarter, he was making all the same mistakes he made last year over committing. Then he completely dominated after the second half of the second quarter
The best Defenses I've remember since SBIII, were the Bears, Steel Curtain, Sack Exchange, Rams fearsome foursome, Giants won their last 2 Superbowl's with a front four. Jets with Rex in the first two winning seasons were 3-4, but none of the 4 linebackers made all pro, and Jenkins when wasn't hurt, made one all pro as a nose. You need a great nose, that doesn't get hurt, dominates to make it work. Today the 49ers, Detroit, Jets, Philly, KC, Buffalo and others use the 4-3. Jets have too many good DL's to go to a 4-3. Quinton as a nose tackle or DE would take away his advantage. We don't have 6 good linebackers. If it ain't broke? Heard of that?

I hope coach saleh Pulls a jeff fisher And waits for the time when he could send his tight end to do a blind side Legal smashing block when he's not ready.
