The millions of motorbike taxis - or boda bodas - are vital for moving people and goods around cities in Africa. But their petrol engines add to high air pollution, which in places like Nairobi often exceeds safe levels. One solution is to change to cleaner electric vehicles. Now there are startups in Kenya introducing affordable electric vehicles with a clever system that means you don’t have to waste time charging them - you just swap the battery instead.
