This. So much this. 10 year old me didn't know why he always felt happier or like laughing or proud when he done "male" voices with his toys versus his girl voices with the other toys. And he didn't really know why he felt like he'd left something behind when he had to use his "real voice" when he wasn't playing.... until I started voice training a few months ago, I'd forgotten how much I FEEL when I'm changing my voice, how it feels to gradually get closer to the voice 10 year old me knew he was supposed to grow up to have, how gutting it feels to switch back to my default voice when I'm around other people since I don't really want them to see me in the "in between stage" of practicing my voice until I'm comfortable being able to maintain it for longer and not have to jump back and forth... but sometimes in training, I'll hear myself reach a stage in an exercise that'll make me remember 14 year old me shying away from a similar exercise in singing training but not understanding why, or 9 year old me bursting out laughing during choir practice and not knowing why I felt like I had to try so hard not to laugh in certain exercises or notes... but this makes so, so much more sense now. Thank you!!!

I'd like to know why and where my accent comes from... I'm well traveled so I've a melting pot accent(definitely stand out in the south) my voice I read to my son with is feminine but has an accent that feels 😊 amazing... it's the lips and tongue movements it feels right and idk why it just sorta how I sound when I read to my son... he likes it helps him sleep better... it's a weird question I'm sure I'll ask when I get a consult I think it's called gaps 🤷‍♀️ va stuff... but maybe you know
^^^ is that a normal change to shift where it sounds like your from?

Cool video! I like the idea with putting of masks and putting on make-up as a methapher.
