If all your reviews are this funny? Count me in 😂😂😂😂.
Great content bro
I do try to make them less boring 😁
Great video! clear and concise.
Thank you so much! I try to keep videos short 😁
Great review, thank you :)
Thank you! I did try 😁
Subscribing almost purely for the channel name (also great video!).
It's not a channel name, it's a plea for justice for my cow! Thanks so much, I try and make the videos as well as I can using the equiptment I have.
This review is too good! You’re really underrated fam 😭
Thank you. I feel the pain... Maybe one day...
@@AliensStoleMyCow My question is your showing your R23 scores. You showed 5481, i have an alienware r3 with the same CPU, i get well over your score ( 8216 ) Is there something wrong with your machine?
@@wifihaxr8909 @WiFi Haxr This is a review unit sent by Dell and not a retail sample. It could be drivers, bios, ram speed or a combination of hardware/software reasons. I tested it straight out of the box without any updating and that was the result I got.
Loving it,my M15 R1 OLED
Glad to hear it, it's a really good screen and it's much cheaper than buying an OLED monitor
You the man!
Thank you so much!
Thanks for the review. Can you please tell me if you lower the resolution for gaming to 1080p are the graphics/fonts blurry?? I really like the OLED screen but would game at 1080p or 1440p to get better fps.
1080p is not blurry but most other resolutions are a little. You shouldn't have to go lower than that to get playable frame rates
468 subs? the quality of the vid is great u deserve way more
Thank you, it's very hard to get discovered on CZcams 😭
@@AliensStoleMyCow ik bro I thought u were at like 200k
@@ktzzolo8072 I will be when I have 5 gran kids
@@AliensStoleMyCow nah bro trust me by the end of 2021 u will be at atleast 25k if u keep up the good work
@@ktzzolo8072 I hope you're right
Nice review.
I'm thinking of getting an Alienware on Black Friday, i want to play games on it etc, do i need to shell out for the top specs on the device which obviously will cost a lot more cash, I'm willing to if need be but a bit of advice would be great.
No problems. The OLED screen is obviously the best upgrade unless you need 240hz for FPS. You don't need to max it out on specs. i7 should be enough for gaming. You also don't need nVME raid. Get the cheapest HDD and just upgrade to nVME yourself. You are allowed to do it without voiding warranty. Memory you have to select enough though.
Is the storage on this upgradable? Like if you get the smallest storage amount to start with and late on go to upgrade it
Yes, you can replace the M2 or 2.5 inch SSDs
I wish you’d had commented more on the 60Hz refresh rate with the 1 ms OLED response time in comparison to LCD for gaming. Is it very noticeable when playing something like Destiny 2?
Generally anything under 5ms is fine and not that noticable. 120/144hz is much more noticable and really helps with tracking targets in shooters.
Very through as always!
Thanks red but I only had half a day with the laptop so I couldn't do loads of things I wanted 😭
@@AliensStoleMyCow that sucks. It looks really good. Also... it's 2am over there... Get some sleep😴
@@theredgaming4250 oh no I missed the Diablo stream again, I only just realised when you said 2am. This thing took too long to make
@@AliensStoleMyCow We beat Baal! And! Taco didn't die! So now we get to finish the cow level next stream. 😎
@@theredgaming4250 hopefully I won't have anything to edit on Saturday
How cool is that
That is super hot 🔥🔥🔥
Great review!!! Was there a 144hz panel available for it?
Yea 2 but only 1080p
Totally agree with the display flex point. The device is meant to he thin and powerful, I feel like if they made the lid of the laptop from a more premium material that would be perfect. Added weight will be worth it.
@@THEMIALOG Magnesium is more premium than Aluminum.
By the way your Specs are wrong in the description. It has 802.11AX And Bluetooth 5.1, not AC and 4.0.
Woww that was an amazing video
Keep on making amzing tech videos you will earn sub fast
P. S - You and Alienware are of proper size but that is one huge teady bear you have 😍😂
Thank you! I call him Giant Dog 🐶
Hey can u tell me how much battery can I maximum squeeze out of the OLED 60hz version brightness 50% :) thanks in advance
My test was done with web browsing on the OLED and it was around 5-6 hours. But I did have a black wallpaper so that helped. It also depends on your GPU and CPU as they contribute somewhat to the draw. My test model had an i7 and rtx 2070
@@AliensStoleMyCow thank you for your prompt reply 😁
@@sachinmanivannan3506 any time 👍🏻
nice vid.
Thanks for watching
Very good video
Thank you, glad you found it useful!
Can you suggest any Gaming Monitor under 50,000 INR. (My Friend wants to Buy it). Btw it's look promising 🙂
I'll look into it
Can you game in playable 4k
Do you actually get 5 hours with the oled? Everywhere I read is ~2 hours??
5 hours is for stuff like web browsing but 2 hours for watching a film and slightly more taxing workloads
Everyone is saying this laptop is upgradeable. Does that mean I can buy an I7 processor with it, then upgrade to an i9 later on down the road? Or does that just mean I have the option of choosing it when buying?? And does the same go for the ssd memory, and graphics card?
The processor is chosen when buying and cannot be changed. Upgradable means the M.2 SSDs and Ram can be changed.
AliensStoleMyCow
Oh I see, Thanks this really helps me make a buying decision
@@Martin1519 no problems. It's an expensive purchase so it's good to be sure.
How much ?
It varies depending on country but there is a rough price guide in the video.
that charger is quite a brick to take around with
You'll struggle to find anything smaller than that with the same power. The dell 330w is double the thickness and weight, we should be thankful it's not that one.
If you buy in india this laptop costs about freaking $4,600. Why??
Not sure. Import fees maybe?
If your going to give it up let me know
It was a review unit, I don't actually own the laptop!
1st
You're the best
5 to 6 hrs of battery? 🤣 I bought the 300Hz screen option and can’t get more than 3 hrs when in battery saver mode and cap the cpu to 90%
5 to 6 hours was for web surfing etc. Nothing heavy. I haven't tested the 300Hz screen, maybe it does consume a lot more power. Maybe try turning it down to 120hz and see if that helps
That's because 300hz screen doesn't have optimus, it's always using the nvidia gpu
Is this Cow Reviews now lol??
It's one of the many things we do here Jay Talks
You review a Gaming Laptop and spend 5 seconds on Gaming.
This isn't an indepth review. My reviews covers the essentials and general overview. There's plenty of reviews that are 20-30 mins long that has a good 15 mins of gaming. I leave that up to them.
I think, that it`s really important to talk about thermals and to talk about battery life, but no. What is a ponit of your video? It doesn`t make any sense. Sorry, but it`s about nothing.
Thank You
