That’s the thing, more than half of LE in that town was present in the school. All those officers for one kid? Think about that? Than to disarm the teachers husband? Was that a conflict interest? It’s almost like they didn’t want anyone to take that maniac out. Something is very off about all of this. It’s been said, that an officer had a clear shot of the kid from the classroom window outside. Plenty of opportunities missed and ignored. These children and teacher most certainly DIDN’T have to die that day. Shameful!

The wife of a Texas Sheriff told her husband that she loved him very much, but if he had been a first responder at the Uvalde school massacre, she expected him to have placed his life on the line to save those children, and if he did not come home that night, he would have performed his duty with honor. But if he refused to seek out and engage the suspect and neutralize the threat, she would have been very ashamed of his cowardly actions that cost the lives of innocent children.

He was escorted out of the building and they took his weapon only a few minutes after he got in, because his wife was in the classroom and seemed to be dying, which she did.

Thank you for listing their names. I have been so incensed since day one and honestly I get angrier every day. How this was even possible is absolutely mind-numbing. Law enforcement does not exist in Uvalde TX. Law enforcement is an oxymoron. A contradiction in terms. All of these officers who participated should resign immediately.
That man had an opportunity to try and save his wife. If I knew my wife was in that situation, I would’ve ran to try and save her even if I would’ve lost my job for not obeying protocol.
The leak video will help prevent any doctoring of video evidence to be manipulated in order to put the failures of these cowards in good light.

After looking at his phone he paced back and forth for about 1 mins and then steps away to take what seems to be a phone call comes back and says "my wives shot." Then he stands there behind the corner wall for another minute, then of his own validity walks out of the scene and doesn't appear to return. The entire time he was inside the hallway he was armed. Doesn't seem like anyone had to hold him back or take away his gun. They probably saw what a wreck he was and asked for him to hand it over. Anyways all this doesn't correlate well with all the other officers that were present saying they didn't know if anyone was alive or even in the classroom (that is the current case theyre developing for officers who were present).But you're literally holding your buddy back while his wife is in the classroom saying she's shot. So that means they did know there were survivors in the class and still chose to do nothing. Plus that cop looks frightened he was holding his gun up to his tummy after looking at his phone not ready to go take on the shooter.

@@duckyh9712 I so doubt anyone had to hold that officer back he was inside the school hallway for 2-3 mins and didn't do anything knowing the shooter is in his wives classroom and even told his buddies after looking at his phone his "wife was shot." If he was going to do anything it would've been then he was armed, trained(?) And had long guns as back up. Instead he pushed the gun to his stomach and hid behind a corner for 3 mins and then just walks out never to come back. Such a coward he literally could've saved her and some of those kids. I know it's harsh but he had every reason to go in there and didn't it's disgusting.

I'm a big supporter of law enforcement officers who honor their oath and the constitution, but these cops were more concerned with officer safety then they were about protecting children. This makes me sick,every police officer on scene should resign.

They took the officers gun and ushered him out of the school after he knew it was his wife's class and he knew his wife was shot. He would have killed that kid or gone down fighting in my eyes they made the wrong move right there completely. I hope he gives up his badge as he shouldn't be working for or with people that allowed his wife and those little kids die.

Obviously this delay caused the deaths of many if not all these children and the teachers. Let that sink in. Even after the initial screw up with that single officer letting the suspect enter, they could have saved lives.

A lot of people are asking that. A few weeks ago at a hearing, Texas DPS director McCraw stated that 90 of the officers at the school were with Operation Lone Star. I assume most of them have more training and experience with mass shootings than Small Time school police chief Arredondo or the Uvalde city police. So it is hard to believe that those 90 OLS state officers did nothing for 77 mins. and were just standing around waiting for cowardly Arredondo to tell them what to do. Some suspect that they were told to stand down by a state level higher up official. Now Gov Abbott and DPS McCraw are trying to put ALL of the blame on Arredondo. People everywhere need to question how law enforcement state agencies and local police depts spend their hard earned tax money. Especially when they perform like they did in Uvalde.

It’s hard to say how one would react in that situation, but as a mother of 3 elementary/ middle schoolers, I would I have in there with no weapons or protection in me, I believe I would have died trying to protect those babies that were so damn terrified, how could you not want to run in there and SAVE them?

I cannot imagine the thoughts going through their heads even now having to live with not being able/ALLOWED to do anything. I would love to see that part when other officers removed them from the building and took his weapon away from him I need to see that part because it looked like he had no intentions to go and help his wife at all. I saw him looked at his cell phone he seems very calm he read the message at his right hand you can see he had his firearm on him close to his chest because he looked like a straight coward I know for a fact that if my wife texts me and sends me a picture that I'm shot I am running forward to help my significant other. Actually, two officers had family in those classrooms; one who's wife was a teacher and the other who's daughter was in there. They both were in the hallway and while the first officer who's wife was the teacher was escorted out, the father of the girl stayed and watched through to the end with a gun (big gun) while his fellow officer merely held onto him. WHY WHY WHY didn't either of those two try and breach the classroom? BOTH were armed and NOTHING and NOONE should have kept them from doing so. SMH. This is wrong on sooooooo many levels and to see these officers lounging around in the hallway acting like they were clueless as to the massacre that lie behind those doors is sad. That father and the husband of the victims will now sit in that "what if" for the rest of their lives.

To be honest these news reports really make me want go up to heaven myself and pass away to see and hug these little children who could have been a high school graduate one day just like me graduating on June 3rd with the class of 2022 but I can’t really take my own life away to see these angels because I am only 19 and I still have many years ahead of me and a lot of people are proud of me right now for graduating at the top 50 of my class and going to college in August to study Computer Science.I would have had the courage to take down the gun man myself if I could that day instead of those corrupt officers.

I’m really disappointed with the LE response but the more we focus on this the less we focus on the real problem. The shooter went to that school to intentionally kill kids, yet we’ve all forgotten about this, because we’re too focused on the aftermath; why are we not talking about mental health, gun ownership at the age of 18, violence in the home etc… ?

To be a responder and know your wife or child is being shot at I wouldnt care if they say not to save them I would go and help as soon as I can. It's sad to know some lives could have been prevented. Just standing and waiting and hearing all those babies screaming? 😪 I can't even imagine losing a child. My son is 6 and he's my only child. If something ever happens at his school and officers don't go in I'll go in for you and help out my son and other kids. It's just heartbreaking.

I watched a few minutes of that video and it really breaks my heart hearing all of those gun shots and when you would hear a series of shot and then a pause and more shots and a pause you know that's where the shooter was shooting those innocent children and the teachers. 💔
