An 8-year-old boy says he came face-to-face with the shooter who tragically took the lives of 21 victims at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas Tuesday.

Our local gun stores are reporting record business today. This always happens after a mass shooting, because people are afraid that the federal government is finally going to institute meaningful restrictions on firearms. Don't worry. If our country couldn't do anything after the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in 2012, when twenty kindergarteners and six adults were murdered in cold blood, we won't do anything now. Sandy Hook was a turning point for this country: our refusal to take any steps to prevent another mass shooting means that we've accepted these as a way of life. What's that, this isn't a good time to discuss this? It's NEVER a "good time" to discuss this, is it? So we never do. This isn't the first mass shooting in the US and it won't be the last. And they will just keep getting bigger and deadlier, and it will never, ever, ever be the "right time" to discuss how to prevent it. By the way, I was a teacher for thirty years, including elementary school at one point. If you say "arm the teachers", I'll just ignore you. Because if having teachers pack pistols and rifles is your "solution", you are just too stupid for words. Y'all feel bad about this but you won't lift a finger to prevent another one. You can't bring back these little kids, but you could make the next shooting less likely. But you won't. So save your prayers and telling us all how really awful you feel. So do something. Words are meaningless. Only actions count.
That boy saved his classmates and his teacher by warning them before the shooter got to that room. Hes a hero because he payed attention to his surroundings.

Many other students an teather would have been saved if law enforcement officers and their leaders would've acted sooner in busting the door down instead of waiting on a freaking key. When has any law enforcement officers waited on a key if they needed to get in a home or any other type of structure.
So glad her baby survived, but those bullet sounds & screams are so horrible for him to deal with! I pray he gets ptsd counseling ASAP! He was so smart & brave, why is he not getting recognition for saving his class? God bless you sweetheart 💔
Those poor babies, now traumatized. Even the sound of thunder, now scaring the poor sweet babies like never before 💔
I see why she doesn’t wanna be filmed. I’d be overwhelmed Too . Glad her son survived . I’m sure he’s traumatized

A beautiful mom! Praying for them.
This Mother's boy is a hero! Running back to his class and warning the classmates and teacher before the shooter went to the room.
Omg 😱 unbelievable prayers hope all is alive and safe🙏🙇🏽♀️
Oh that mother was so sweet. Bless her and her babies.
he must've ran faster than he ever did. hero.
A second grader should not have to be a hero
MAN THIS A TOUGH ONE HERE
This 8 year old angel here was the "resources officer" who ran and told his teacher when he saw the devil face to face, and they could shut and barricade their 2nd grade classroom door. God! where were the adults who should have been carrying all this out for the whole school?!!!!
Gosh! I can only imagine how hard it is to hear that poor child. As a parent it has to be so heartbreaking. And worse. Imagine what that kid is feeling. hearing shots and knowing those were his friends dying. f! i hope they get him help.
I can't comprehend ANY of this 💔
Our local gun stores are reporting record business today.
Great job bby boy . U are a hero mijo and your parents are proud of you💙
I am so incredibly sorry.
😮 😭🙏💔this is so heart breaking
