- Hi Prepsters,
Today I’m sharing with you easiest ways to store your spices for longer-term. Now there are many different ways that you can put your spices away vacuum sealing them pulling them in my life putting them in mason jars but as you can see if this video gets easiest way.
I simply remove the lid of the plastic container on the spices, poke some holes at the top, place in mylar bags, add my lid into bag, & all I have left to do is add my oxygen and seal them up.
I get my Mylar bags at packfreshusausa.com. I am storing my spices quick and simple in Quart 5 mil Premium which comes with 300cc oxygen absorbers. Don’t worry there’s a link packfreshusa.com/quart-7-mil-...

Great idea! Will definitely try this.
Very creative bc I love original containers! Thanks I’ll try this!
Aren’t factory sealed containers sufficient? This one didn’t make sense to me.
You have that tipped over which I would think would trap oxygen. Id just dump it all in the bag to be on the safe side. JMO
I’m new to ur channel. I have a question I have stored the same condiments in Mylar bags but not w’ the bottle now does it last the same time and how long?
The oxygen is removed that is the key so yes as long as used oxygen absorbers whether they’re in the containers or not it will remove the oxygen with the tricks I showed you
Which observant did u use? What number?
I left that information in the description. 300cc for the quart bags
Would a 500cc oxygen absorber be enough?
300cc for this size bag. This is 8x12 Size is closer to a half gallon. So I used a 300 mL and as you can see in the video it shrunk it down
Why open holes on the seal of the original bottle… it’s sealed from factory with no oxygen for long shelf life. This is counterproductive.
