I have been using Venue for 8 months now. Really nice headphones, with high quality ANC. But I have 2 huge problems. Its not fit for outdoor usage, due to the slightest wind in the outer ANC microphones causes a huge noise inside the headphone. I wanted to use ANC function without Bluetooth (connected trough 3,5mm jack) but unfortunately it is unavailable with cable connection. So keep these downsides in mind before purchase.

Went from crusher to these they're like headphones for grown ups... just made 49 so the wife got them for me...I always use Skullcandy for years....best value for money.... only 24 hrs battery plus noise cancelling...... crusher 40 hrs and crazy bass good for watching movies....but every day out and about venue wins
How's the build quality? Are they still working?
These are the best wireless headphones I've ever owned. I use these for gaming with my Xbox and friends can hear me fine with the built in microphonea. No more over priced sci-fi shaped headphones that break after 6 months. These sound excellent, super comfortable, easy to clean and durable. My only complaint is the controls can be confusing. You'll definitely want to keep your manual handy in the case.

They creak a small amount but it isnt something that will prevent you from buying.

hey bro ...for how long you had the crusher wireless ? because i heard they will broke after 5 months of usage ...alot of people complained that they cracked after 4-6 months ...i read the reviews of buyers on amazon ...and these new headphones have the same design

Yeah I agree, I've soon owned mine for two years and they haven't missed a beat (haha punny), the only thing I've noticed is that they squeak and creak a little bit but only when you twist them. I've dropped them a few times - no damage. The only damage on them are from the knurling off a barbell and that was my own fault. I highly recommend them, they are a lot less expensive (or at least were when I got them) than Bose, Beat's or Sony's - plus you don't look like a douche with the Crusher's!

@@ahmadibrahim327 I have the crushers, had to warranty them once because of what you are saying. I am about to send them back in because theres a crack in the plastic between the headphone and the band on top. Second time it's happened, but its not a big deal because I really love the headphones.
If Skullcandy can make major improvements on the build quality (mainly the issues I experienced with the ear cup hinges coming apart on my Hesh 3s and Crusher wireless), I'm sold.

AO17 apparently it’s very creaky and flimsy. Mostly plastic.
I'm an electrician and these are great for drowning out the roofers, concrete, and framing guys constant noise. Just turn on a podcast and get to work!

I'm buying these because I love the look and they seem great for the price (price just dropped to 130 on amazon), but I am bummed it doesn't have usb c. It actually only costs 15 cents more to use usb c over a solid micro usb connector in their product. I'm still excited to use them, just some food for thought I guess.

But in general i would recommend getting them but if you planning on lying down while wearing them turn off active noise cancelling because it will cause a very loud squealing noise

What's the bass like on these? I know it said "attacking bass" but what exactly does that mean?
Hi all. I had bought these headphones last November. So far I am very disappointed with the quality of the sound and noise cancelling feature. They suck and after a few months of daily use broke down. They now stop working randomly and I would have to drain the battery before I can reset them and start using them again. The sound is bad as well... distorted sound when on full blast and the bass is virtually non existent.. Noise canceling also sucks.. Basically they boost the sound instead of cancel them.... I would not recommend.
The redhead is hot! Oh and can't wait to get these headphones.

Great question! Unfortunately, the Venue does not support APTX.
I don't have a big head but these are way too tight, even adjusted all the way out. I've used the Hesh style for years and have tried other Skullcandy types, and other brands, and literally can't find anything as good as the Hesh. Probably returning these and going back to Hesh. There's no bass in these headphones or I don't know how to adjust it? Or I got a broken pair.
Im kinda sad, my monitor mode dosnt turn on with the button, but only on calls for some reason

I think the Crusher's are awesome! I've owned mine for almost two years now and they are still amazing, the deep bass but still clear notes in the high range. They were well worth the money and I recently pre-ordered the Venue's cause I really want to try them out!

I'm listening on my Hesh 3
I own a pair of hesh 3's. i had to send it back recently because it cracked on me when I was putting it on my head, don't think I will receive any accommodations for it but I had to send it back to try at least. The headband is NOT flexible like the Hesh 2 and for the first few months while you break in the headphones, using them for extended periods of time hurts the area around your ears, not very comfortable for long uses at first. HOWEVER, the sound is good and the product I believe improved upon the hesh 3 except for the build quality of the headband. I got used to the feeling around my ears and they felt good. If it's hot out since the cushion has leather on it if you get sweaty they feel weird. The headset does filter out most noise around you, I take public transit and I can cancel out most of the sound. It's so good that I might buy another pair if my claim gets bounced.
I dont think my active noise canceling is working. I press the anc button but it stays the same and i hear outside noise

So I have a few questions I work and a warehouse area with a lot of air pressure tools. Will these cancel out all the noise?? and I work around dust. well that affect the headphones in any way??.

Prolly to save money. If they are just for charging its not that big of a deal.
Probably to be cross compatible with the majority of cables that you would have lying around, besides, the rapid charge makes it a moot point, plug in for twenty minutes or so and get a few hours of song time is a nice feature. So unless you have purged your life of micros it isn't all that bad. Additionally the carrying case can hold the cable, so it's not like you will be lacking the cable in the first place.

Which one should I get Bose Noise Cancelling headphones or venue?
If you want better sound and noise-cancellation then probably Bose QC25, if wireless is essential then Skullcandy Venue, and if you've got $350 for both then Bose QC35.

How do I turn up the bass on this badboys
just bought these headphones and i can tell they dont cancel all of the noise its just less loud. Also when your on a bike or motorcycle (which is when i primarily use my headphones) its like there is a tornado right next to you because of the wind which makes so much noise. For 180 dollars i think you can get beter than these.
1. The headphones hasn't even been released yet (27th sep if I'm not wrong), 2. These are over-ear which means that you can't have a helmet on and using the headphones while driving MC, 3. How is there possible to be more sound (tornados are pretty loud) when having em on, have you turned off the monitor mode?, And lastly 4. Some people prefer it to just cancel the major sounds others want it all, it comes down to preferences and price ✌️ good to know tho, have to test em out myself when their available!
Alexander Eriksson dude i just bought these im not lying i live in the netherlands so we dont need a helmet on for scooters and bike’s. The noise reducement is solid but it doesnt block all the noise like it says on the package. And i’m not exaggerating when i say the wind is loud as fuck when youre on a bike.

Oh fucking differently bro I have the crusher wireless and it's all distorted and high noises hurt your ears. Believe it or not the wired crushers are better than the wireless crushers but what they pretty much did was put what the wired crushers had in the new headphones u see up in the video so honestly they are worth it

Nope, you don't need the battery when using aux. Only when using Bluetooth.

Has anyone bought these? How’s the quality of the headphones?
I've had a pair for a while now, They are pretty nice, a bit pricey though. The sound quality is good, and the build quality is good (the plastic doesn't feel cheap and only creaks when bent to extremes). I appreciate that they provide you with a carrying case that can hold the cables for you so you always have them accessible, and I went a step further and used one of the elastic slots to hold a power bank so that I can charge the Headphones while they rest in the carrying case themselves (Kind of like an oversized pair of Apple Airpods). That addition of the power bank has made them last weeks at a time, and the stand-by battery life is long lasting. Overall I would recommend these, though I find that I feel self conscious wearing them outdoors (I think that about all over the ear type headphones though, so that's a personal gripe). The active noise-cancellation does a great job filtering out the noise around you, and the monitor mode is a neat feature, especially when you take calls through the headphones, because when you answer a phone call, the monitor mode kicks in automatically, enabling you to hear yourself talk (this cuts out the need to free up an ear to make sure you aren't yelling). Again, overall the headphones are excellent, and I would recommend them... just not at $180, The ideal price point for these would be more in the $100 range in my opinion (I steer away from anything above that price point unless the headphones are sent from above). I just happened to need a pair of noise cancelers for work and was comped the money for these.
