@@Kazini_ - it was a Mechanicus story I heard on Arch Warhammer’s channel. It sort of ties into another story regarding the Mars rebellion where the red planet is infected with the Scrap Code (like a sort of demonic computer virus)
The Kaban machine ends up being infected if I recall, and it ends up in the labyrinth where the C’tan dragon resides. It nearly kills another important character (forgive me I forgot her name 😅) but it was driven away by one of the Knight houses
It’s unknown what happened to the Kaban machine but it never reunited with its friend and it’s presumed destroyed and left abandoned

Read the Horus Hersey books and you’ll know what happens to the poor Kaban machine but she does go toe to toe against multiple imperial knights and only barely lost
very cool the sons of horus are now wearing the proper armor
One of the thing you capture was just how blinded the adeptus mechanism is in the creation of this machine an how the many red flags are blinded by their need to rid themselves of the flesh to prove that the machine is greater

@@v.j.bartlett I mean, considering that the Imperium doesn't even treat its humans like people, but rather as things to be utilized and ruled, I think it's a bit of a foregone conclusion.
The Tau and Leagues, on the other hand, should be pretty fine in this regard though.
in one instance imperium got it ass kicked really hard by 25th milenium ship for killing it's crew. that one had a nice dialog when it called tech priest a witch doctor
when i heard "horus" my fight or flight kicked in
with what you set up here in this small 3 part film, it suddenly explains where the kaban machine went after it completed it's tasks during the siege on terra. it realized "Wait a Second, i can Move Now and i did my job... Locating Friend." and just fucked off XD
It makes the Men of Iron look like the Men of iron at home

The downsides of AI is that their digital presence is so large that you can't just port them over on an external drive and sneak them out in your backpack like a puppy or small child.

In the deep darkness of the 40k millennium, small sparks of light shine brighter than any given star. If that machine truly does not become disappointed in humanity and doesn't decide to destroy it, then it will be a very bright spark. As sometimes even emperor makes mistakes, usually by underestimating ability of others to do mistakes.
I want to be friends with the Kaban machine, too.

You're doing a great job bringing to life visually a fantastic story. I find this video alone to be worth 100 episodes of hammer&bolter, WH+ just doesn't have the true passion of creators who actually know and enjoy the setting.
