As his face fades into view you recognize The Demon Strahd, however this is not the calm visage of the monster you have encountered before. The organs play more forcefully, an attempt to hide his howls of anguish. Louder and louder the organs screams as Strahd tears at the keys, body convulsing as he plays. The music crescendos as a name is screamed out in sorrow and hatred "Tatiana". Strahd's eyes glare at the heavens as rage-filled tears stream down his face. He hammers the keys with a ferocious intensity as he spits curses at every God you know, and more. Abruptly, he stands, hateful eyes fixated on you. He knows you're there. The organ continues it's cries spurring on its masters madness. "This world will burn. All will know my anguish. My hate will be an unknowable ocean and you shall all drown in my flame!" Strahd bellows in an animalistic fury. (make a Wisdom save or lose a sanity point) Slowly Strahd begins to reassemble himself. His shoulders cease shuttering. His eyes once again become like steel. His postures resumes a portrayal of his measured arrogance. The click of his heels echo as he strides out of the hall. The Demon of Barovia awaits you at his castle. Enter if you dare.
Make him a mythic monster that has a round two that’s has the necromancer/fighter combo, because all that mythic monsters are is just big monsters with a stage two to their stat sheet
been playing this before every session for an almost 4 year long (players went far off the rails, finally trying to end strahd now). played it last time mid session when they finally sat down for dinner with the count. when they heard the music there were audible groans, in a good way.

I know strahd is a villain but honestly those lines seem strange from an immortal vampire. Someone of such power would surely see a mortal as lesser, like an animal and one does not swear revenge or hatred of a gnat for biting, that is what they do.
If you also wanted to you could use this for the Fetid Wedding (Out of the Abyss) maybe with some more distortion to represent the Demon Lords Corruption.
i move my organist into the ravenloft castle two paces to the right. in the room there are two chests, a baroque pipe organ, a suit of armour and a sword.
