i own both and i use jrl for fading and instinct for de bulking it’s a perfect combo the low speed on the jrl are good for detailing some area u barely want to cut

❤it great combination with jrl taper blade and instinct fade blade and I’m going to use it when you make that guide line on course hair finger length then laid the hair down with the jrl just enough to get the transition to your next steps much faster than if you were to just make the first guide line finger length all around while brushing to lay down NICELY done 😅and thanks again Eddie for your gems I graduated from master barber school and passed my exam and I’m waiting for my master barber license to get in my mail box and your the reason of inspiring me that school and license is the correct way to go and that’s what I did and your videos prepared me for school and while I was in school your videos and gems I put action to your techniques and practicing on maniquin and I practiced so many different techniques with just one maniquin and by following your advice I was able to take on the most complicated hair types and cuts nobody else would even attempt and always got compliments and tips and another thing im always will remain teachable and I put that work in and it all paid off thank you Eddie

Those JLR serious. I been a Barber 39 years and a instructor 33 years. As far as the clipper game, It is soon many good clippers in the field. But those JLR you are cutting with is a must buy. The sound seems heavy duty, the they are not bulky. I can tell by the sound the clippers are good. Thank you💈💈💈

I just got the instinct about a week ago, i can say that i do like it but i dont like how it heats up fast and mine came with a black faper blade and not the gold, i contacted SC and they said thats how they come now after the first pre order. I just changed the cutting black to the blc blade and its working better than the slim cutting blade it comes with also runs cooler.. all in all great clipper i love it cuts great very powerful, light weight, cool look, charging stand etc its definitely fire 8.5/10

I had the same issue I had to do using my eyes and it’s been smooth every since
Noooooo that Panasonic shaver though!!! The Saber it just has too much power and was that an Andis trimmer in the beginning. Dude use the fade blade from Gamma Italia on JRL it fits the bracket and everything it’s my go to now and it’s wrecking it. I’m using my Babyliss Boost trimmer amazing but only to line up but I think I’m switching to the Saber 😳😳

Hey Eddie, if a client wants a grade 1 on the back and sides, blended into longer hair, is the process similar to a skin fade? Start with a 2 and then make a number 1/grade 1 line?
i recommend if you don’t make any lines, just go n4 guard, n3 guard etc, down to 1 or even bald

For a skin fade its better to put a fade blade on the jrl. Gets it more close to the skin and more detailed.

Babyliss' qc has been slipping. Those valleys for the cam in the still blades are too wide and the moving blade goes all over the place. Can't get clean line and wont bald out well. Put new cutting blade on and old stationery blade.
