Thanks for the shout out! You did an amazing job on this. The end result looks fantastic.
And I like your description of my channel being criminally undersubscribed. Shout outs like this really help me out.
Toy Polloi I just subbed to you
I just subscribed as well.
Nice work 👍.
and here are the little kids. oh another youtuber commented i better tell them i sub to their channel!
@@diesel_freak952 who the hell cares?
Awesome work man 👍
Sweet tooth from twisted metal pls
Which Twisted Metal that is the question!
OMG yes !
Hell yes lol
Yes
Hear! Hear!
Mattel has released a 1977 enconoline but it looks similar
You beat me to it. I had one as a kid.
Would love to see you do a Jurassic Park Explorer, but good luck finding a correct model to start with.
matchbox.fandom.com/wiki/%C2%B493_Ford_Explorer_Jurassic_Park
Maisto makes the correct explorer casting but they're extremely hard to find
This van is SO freaking cool!! SERIOUSLY amazing work you did!!
i really like this custom as its a car that Mattel would never print, as the movie has a lot of adult humor and not to mention the simulated hair which would be torture to a machine to mess with, your idea to use the grass as the hair was really smart and looked good on the final product.
first time I've seen anyone give their hotwheels a haircut
Every 90s kid would buy this if it was in stores!!! I want one too!!! You should make 1950s -20s style Gangster cartoon style cars, people own them in real life so you’ll have picture, you’ve probably seen these custom cars already, they look so cool and look like str8 from a comic
This super van is actually a Ford Transit mark 1 (1968-1977) which was made in the UK and was very in popular Europe and other countries at the time. good job!
Great work! I actually know the guy who owns the real van. It's really fun getting to ride around downtown KC like we're on our way to Aspen. I wish I would've known you were working on this, I could've sent you all the pics you wanted haha.
Can you do the van from Cheech n' Chong? That would be "dope" 😅
Superb job and great to hear my homeboy Diecast Resurrection get a shout out. SidewaysKing75 is another genius at this stuff too.
Doggone good choice for the Movie Car Challenge. Diecast Resurrection's Hollywood Knights Chevy is absolutely divine! Nice work.
My favorite custom from you yet! 😎 I love it!
the shaggin’ wagon! nice job overall. man if hot wheels sold that i’d be forced to buy it. the fur idea was really well done.
"Pull over!!!!" "Its a cardigan, but thanks for noticing!"
You’re so clever! Don’t stop making these videos, I’ve never been into toy cars...but you have me hooked! X
Diecast Resurrection is truly an artist his 57 Chevy remake is spot-on but I will say the Mutt cuts van is ridiculously spot-on you did a fantastic job and if I was a judge in this competition I would surely give it to you on this one
I bet you love the new Casting of this! I had to buy 3! I hope one day they do an RLC version that’s closer to yours!
I would like to see you two face off on more projects. In my opinion you two are the best on CZcams.
I think only one side had tape in the movie. The fur is incredible. This is instantly recognizable as the mutt cutts van. Love it!
Nice🙂
You are definitely correct about Toy Pollio being underrated. He does amazing work and deserves so many more subscribers.
This is such an amazing idea. You would never know it was a Transit
I dont think I've ever wanted a custom more than this one!!!
I think you won this one in my opinion! I would love to see more of these challenges between you two. Great job!
Brilliant, one of the best custom cars I've ever seen.
"I didn't spend a lot of time modeling everything to it's final shape, instead I just went for a ruff shape" I see what you did there :D
I really enjoyed you customizing this transit into the Mutt Cuts van. Very ingenious
That was a great job and a very good result. The van is actually to scale, if you look up the real Ford Transit Supervan by Terry Drury racing you will see just why it is that shape. It was made back in the 60s as a promotional tool for the release of the Transit van. As per usual Hotwheels made the original and then made numerous completely unrelated versions of the van.
Very kool build.👍👍👍 never saw the hair applicator before.
I think in this instance, he won. But you get huge props for originality.
Pullover! No, it's a cardigan but thanks for noticing!
Great video!
💯
I just watched Resurections video - I'm sad to say I've called it a tie! Two of the most amazing cars I've seen done! No way to split a hair that fine!
Gave the dog a hair cut! 😆 with the 2D things you were taking about hurt my brain as well! Lol
Fun build! I wouldn't have even known where to begin with making the fur, but you got it looking like the van with the flocking lol. Good job.
Great job , nice use of a Ford Transit van too 😉👍
Very good looking end result, it looks like a factory hot wheels vehicle! I’m surprised Matell never made this one...
WOW I love the detail in this van as this is one of my favorite movies and thanks for the shout out!
Absolutely the coolest van, great work
I love this. Great movie and a great replica van!
Best custom hot wheels I have seen, I am kind of biased because it is a great movie.
"You mean like one out of a hundred?"
"More like one out of a million."
"So you're tellin' me there's a chance."
This is a great idea for a custom. I know you sort of questioned your choice of vans but I think you picked a very good one. And using static grass on a custom is truly thinking outside the box. Really nice job. Triple-stamped it, no quitsies, no erasies.
Good idea with the wife's nail varnish. I wonder if they will thin down in the airbrush?
I don't even need to see DR's car, this one wins automatically, due to the movie and car being one of my all time favorites and the creativity of this build, wow!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I would suggest one of the cars from Planes, Trains, and Automobiles! There are a lot of possibilities there. It would be even cooler if you did multiple versions of the same car in different states. Poor thing went through a lot.
Awesome stuff, only thing i would have done differently is flock the leg n ear pieces separately then glue them on to get that natural separation line instead of having to airbrush it on. Great work none the less, feeling inspired.
Nice to see a British Mk1 Ford Transit van used in a conversion. When the van came out in the late 1960's, it was quickly embraced by the criminal community - it was a big van that handled like a car, and a fast car at that. The police hated it for two reasons - it was anonymous; most were left factory white: and it was considerably faster than most of their patrol cars. A deeply loved British vehicle. The body, engine and trim variations of it number in the hundreds of thousands.
Great job! I like the use of the fake grass for the fur on this one.
Very cool, like your version of the car. Thank you for sharing your story. God bless you and your family
Great job! I love this. Wish you would have put the other sign on, but that’s just me. A lot of work. Awesome job.
Pretty cool looking van.
That's brilliant. I love it! An iconic movie vehicle, but seldom replicated in scale.
What a nice throwback to the movie lmao.
I just watched Diecast's challenge video. Diecast has done wonderful work, but you just created the Dumb and Dumber car...impressive! Very creative! You have my vote for the challenge!
Great job! That is one of the hardest "movie cars" to duplicate. I have made my own Mutts Cutts can as well. I used van more like an econoline (I believe Yatming makes it), although it was cheaper in quality. I used a light beige felt and it came out okay, but didn't look as shaggy as yours. To make the ears, legs, tail, ect. I used cardboard. I find it to be a very pliable material, good for almost any occasion.
Love it
I just love TV and Movie cars custom made great job👍
This was great, I wouldn't change a thing, well done!...Bill
That's a badass Star Wars Dengar van
This is super cool. Never thought id see a diecast of this car.. Great job
Looks great, the details put it over the top.
Yoo thats cool!! nice shaping and flocking. This is a really cool and unusual movie car replica; something trully unique. The model looks real good!
Man, you did a great job on the mutts cutts van 👍👍
Wow it's like you shrunk the real one. FANTASTIC Job!!!!!👍
Very authentic! just looking at your version, I was remembering so many lines from Dumb & Dumber! "Killer boots, man!", "Pills are good, pills are goood!", and of course..."mock, YEAH, ing, YEAH, bird, YEAH!" and "Pretty birdy", great movie and a great model there, you should be proud of it!
You both really outdid yourselves this time!
Came out great! Beyond creative!!
Cool project. It was fun to see you using different techniques on this build
I love the choice of vehicle. Also loved all the different ways to make the ad ons. It really brings back memory’s of that movie 😂😂😂. Excellent work as always
No shit. Dumb and dumber is a classic. Your attention to detail is amazing.
Sweet custom. You Did a great job on this one.
Kept thinking about Cheech and Chong's van from back in the day, the whole time you working on this project. Turned out great! Thumbs up!
What is the most beautiful work of art I've laid eyes on since I I saw Monet paint the Mona Lisa.
DaVinci just took credit for it, since he was the only one there.
The flocking worked great
It looks great! I also always appreciate a Toy Polloi shout out. Love that channel.
Watched both of the videos. You win. The other guy may be more of a car guy, but you are definitely the better toy/model guy.
Kudos.
This is the cats meow!!! Very nice!
This van looks fantastic!! Great work as always. :)
Turned out great exactly how it looks in the movie. Great job
A few suggestions? Do the ghostbusters car! Or the dukes of hazard one. Or maybe that dumb stair truck from arrested development 😂
I watched both videos. I feel you won the challenge and put in the most work. I do feel you should both do the same car.
I respect that you took the time to show all the different ways you could do the accessories. But I think some simple sculpy or two part epoxy with some thickness to it would work best. 3D printing and sanding is a massive hassle when you are dealing with a soft surface detail and you plan to cover it in flock anyways. End result was great though.
A wee bit darker fur, but still looks great awesome job one of the best. It would be cool if ya made a drag car popping a wheelie and leaving a trail of smoke. Really cool to see an 85 s10 drag truck
That's a really wonderful custom, incredible attention to detail.
You really did a great job flocking up that van. That was an awesome custom.
This guy really love that rust color
You win in the *novelty* category...
I really enjoyed this one. I always appreciated your attention to detail when restoring old redlines, but this video and the Mad Max videos show how that attention pays off. Really liked this one.
That's incredible. The only thing I would have changed is if you could somehow get the leg to lift.
In my opinion, it is well done, nice job man. Keep up the good work 👍
That looked like a really Ruff project to complete and to work with ,,, lol. Awesome car and loved the movie 🍿 grats 👏🏻✌🏼
So cool. You did a great job. Sure did bring a smile to my face as soon as I saw it
I showed this to my son and he loved it Dumb and Dumber is his favorite movie Good Job.
Holy smokes, dude, that's great! Can't wait to see what Diecast Resurrection comes up with!
That's a total trip! Really a fun project and it looks great!
Like it a lot!!...How to forget that movie! ...good job amigo!
"I spent my entire life savings turning my car into a dog, Lloyd"
Absolutely brilliant, fantastic work.
Wow thats really cool, especially the static grass such a great idea. The best movie car i ever seen!
