Maria & Alex made a pact to vote the rest off & get to the head-2-head, this is also why the Prize Money was so low:- £1290
I think they just wanted to get to the final together even if it meant losing out on a lot of money

Paul's downfall wasn't fair. Maria got lucky. She was overall the weakest link.

The way she asked Melanie the question at 13:28 confused the player She asked "which FLY transmits" which is why she said tsetse. She should have said insect. And Paul's answer was also technically correct when he said aorta, cause it is a thick walled vessel that transport blood from the heart. The aorta is the biggest artery in the body.
Given that Aorta is the actual artery that connects from the heart "directly", anyone who knows of the biggest artery would have definitely answer Aorta.
As a high school student I was a little upset that Anne didn't accept it. but oh well. glad someone else also noticed it

Mosquitoes are flies and the name means 'little fly' in Spanish. Like, quiz shows aren't supposed to be so easy and part of being a good quiz player is understanding a wide breadth of information. That and it's pretty common trivia that mosquitoes spread malaria and AFAIK tsetses don't. So, can't really agree with you there.

Most rubbish team in Weakest Link history. Now we know a very weak team can still bank at least £1000 in prize money. Alex deserved to win.
There’ve been worse teams for example there was a team in Series 10 there was a team with £880 total prize money.

I'd say it was unfair in the round 2 voting. Paul or Emmanuel it should have been. Both three questions wrong. Even though Paul was the Weakest Link in that round, I think Emmanuel should have been voted off more so because I thought his questions were easier. I knew two of Paul's three questions and all three of Emmanuel's questions but anything can happen on a game show. Just wanted to say this.
I’ll say this I watched the 2021 episode of the Weakest Link, but yet it’s not as satisfying as my girl Anne!!!!

With there only being £1,000 per round the amount you mentioned simply isn't even possible

Exactly! The aorta is an artery, and is literally the biggest thick walled vessel transporting blood away from the heart. She should have accepted that answer, or phrased the question differently from the start.

Yes, polar bears have an extra-thick coat, due to the intense cold, which makes them seem larger. Kodiak bears have easier access to food, and they gorge themselves to greater size.

This episode is full of people who would’ve been the first ones out in any other game. I would’ve been more satisfied if Melanie pulled the W but even then she would’ve been a below average winner. Maria has to be the worst runner up in this show. If not, I need to see that episode.
