Good show! I've gotten lost in so many malls in Thailand. They are all spectacular and complicated. Funny, I've never gotten lost is a mall in America.
That grill sticky rice is call "Kaw Neaw Ping" that mean grill sticky rice. They can have various filling, banana, taro, or coconut

Khao niao Ping (Grilled Coconut Sticky Rice wrapped with banana leaf ) Khao Niao = Sticky Rice, Ping = grilled. They are commonly filled with banana or taro and can either be grilled or steamed . If they are steamed ,they are called khao Tom Mud.

Khao jee is issan food. We usually don't put it in banana leaf. Just grill the rice on a stick. Recepie change when people in bkk make it. Ancient Lao snack.

I've been living asia for most of my life and honestly when i go to malls in western countries it is kind of dissapointing and to all the countries i've been to none of their malls can comparre with the malls in asia.

So Central group from Thailand bought Selfridges Group for retail expansion in Europe, looking forward to seeing their services after that deal.
Never been to icon Siam when I go to Bangkok I don't really go pass the other side of the river my last stop before the river is the Saphan Taksin BTS station to go to my hotel. Next time I (maybe after Thailand lifts there border rules) will defiantly visit the Shopping center! The main shopping center I go to is MBK. Seeing a video on CZcams about an update of the shopping center it looks so Empty and everything is getting renovated from the last time I've been to Thailand at the start of 2020. Nice video :)
Nice!! We love the area on the Saphan Taksin side too. The older buildings are so lovely! Last time we visited MBK it was starting to open up more so hopefully it gets even more open soon!

When they first opened they had a waterfall from the ceiling that could do symbols and words. I was there last month and couldn't find it, plus one of your views (9:23) I think shows where it was in the ceiling, but not operating.
Yes, it’s on the food court floor but wasn’t on when we were there 😞
I think it is scheduled to operate every 30 minute or hour, for example x:00 or x:30, not so sure.

Although Icon Siam mall is nice, there isn't really much to do in that area besides that mall. Personally, I think the Siam Square area is so much more fun. You're in the vinicity of 3 large malls and more malls if you walk a mile further. Tons of outdoors shops and street food.
Asia has the biggest malls. Been to malls in Singapore and got lost. I heard Thai malls are bigger and even more of a challenge to navigate.
It took us a while to figure out Central World in particular! They’re huge here!

It’s a great mall no doubt, but it’s a bit like Disneyland. Getting there you must take shuttle boats and with the amount of tourists…it’s really stressful. It’s a mall, but there are just so many tourists at all times that every place is inundated with a bit too many people. This is pre-covid. Now, it may be slightly different. Chinese tourism is hopefully on the down swing during the high season. It can be just too much to deal with along with the heat and humidity. I prefer Siam Paragon. Three malls kind of all attached and MBK down the street: Samyan Mitrtown a mile away. I love Samyan. A calm area. YYY Hotel I highly revcommend. I go to Bangkok for work and always stay there.
The sky train, bus and boat are all different ways of getting there so it’s not too bad in terms of crowds at the moment 🙃
