Ever wonder how a kydex holster is manufactured? PDN is onsite at Psy-Op Tactical with President Bruce Buell, who gives us a step-by-step look at how they manufacture their kydex rack holsters. All processes -- from heating the kydex to molding, cutting, securing the two halves, and finishing -- are shown, and Bruce discusses the special features of the Rack Holster.

I've tried to make them but for the money it's really worth having a pro to make one. Especially the affordable price of most. I like the Tshort machine method there. Love that setup. It takes some skill to get these right. Nice video.
If I can make onemor comment I really like a feature where the holster wraps over the end of the muzzle. It prevents the chance of pushing the pistol out of the holster when sitting in tight places. Again very nice job.

that little lip on the holster i thought that was to keep the waist of the pants down so it didnt get pinched by the gun and pushed into the holster but racking the slide on it just blew me away.
nice video. shows how quick and easy these are made, and considering how cheap supplies are and holster over $30 is too much

Nice but it should wrap over the end of the barrel a bit to protect it. And also to keep the gun from being pushed backwards out of the holster.
where do you get a vacuum table ??? for molding

Can you tell me what brand heat resistance gloves you have or recommend. When I google I always see bulky ones for BBQ's etc. Thanks
Any glove that is rated for intermittent contact with 300-400 degrees will work fine. Grip-N Hot or Hot Mill Knit gloves meet the rating and can be purchased cheaply for around $5 - $10 a pair online or at a local store such as Home Depot.
