Here that kids, he'll help you save an extra $25K for down payment. In Toronto, average house price is $1.2 Million. So, 5% down payment is $60K. So that $25K will help for that down payment. THE REAL ISSUE is that with your $1.14 Million mortgage, you'll be paying between $7,000 and $8,000 per month on repayments. So, in summary, $25K is chump change in the grand scheme of things. It will only really help if house prices have a big correction downwards.

You pay your utility bills and credit card bills on time, you will have good enough credit to get a mortgage. More important requirement is that you have enough income to make mortgage payment. The bigger problem is that house prices are out of reach, It's not a credit issue.

I'm not a Trudeau fan.That said student 's should have a right to protest period whether you or I like it or not without being removed by police as long as they aren't getting violent. Part of going to University is at times exercising your right to protest. MSM is good at spinning stories that actually can cause danger to students or people in general on both sides as well by exaggerating truths or just by lieing. Nothing new either. Don't buy into all the propaganda. Professors across the country are stating most of the protests are peaceful. Are you suggesting you want them arrested? If so why?

It's not the political viewpoint that fixes a country. It's the humans behind it. Trudeau has shown time and time again that he is for himself, not Canada. Time will tell if Piere is too - most politicians are for themselves to some degree - but if I see a 2% improvement in my standard of living versus a 5-10 percent decrease I'll call it good, and so will everyone else. Canada of tired of being gaslit by someone who has demonstrated that he cannot follow through with any promisses he makes and has been seen mismanaging finances time and time again. Maybe Trudeau's policies haven't effected you, good for you. They've seemingly effected the majority and not for the better. Remember the ressession 2008 and how we weren't spending more on servicing our national debt than healthcare even while we had a financial downturn? Yeah, I do too.
