- We're only a matter of weeks into the road racing season, and Mads Pederson has produced ridiculous results from his last 8 races... winning 6 of them! From GC to sprint finishes, he can truly do it all. Is this just the beginning of a promising season for the Lidl-Trek sprinter? I have always thought that if Wout van Aert did not exist, Mads Pedersen would have been one of the gods of cycling. However, Wout does everything Mads can but just slightly better. This could be the year where Mads gets the upper hand though, lets hope.

Lotte Kopecky is just next level. It's frightening to see her performing this well, especially on parcours she "shouldn't" be good at. Not sure who's more scared. The peloton or Demi Vollering! (or Lars, Anna or Danny for having. to pick the team!) EDIT: mad ethis comment at the start, looks liek Dan. moreor less made it too!

@@whatwelearned i hope you're not insinuating doping...there's no proof or history of anything like that. same why other riders are so good and strong (Pog, VDP, Wout). Sports science is so advanced now, training, what when how to eat etc. This (and great genes) is how riders are so great now not doping. At least I'm inclined to always go that way

@@mstrasser Whether cyclists are doping doesn't affect my joy so not really. If you know anything about cycling history and statistics then you understand the likelihood of things.

yeah pederson's form atm is setting him up for a win in one of the one day spring classics......or maybe more, good to have good form at start of season, cav also hopefully is showing form but the test will be when up against a stronger sprinting teams, but he has to get his form to peak at the tour if he is to take the record for most stage wins, he's gotta reallu nail fown as competipn is strong as alwsys this year.

That stage two win by Pederson was embarrassing for everyone else; they all sucked his wheel for 15km and still couldn't even keep on his wheel during the sprint. Hope they got reamed by their DSs

Hi there - they've just launched cycling on the Max service in the US. My understanding is that it will have all the live cycling that GCN+ was previously able to show in the USA. Dan

Tough uphill finish at last years TDF, I think stage 8, Mads beat all the best, MVDP WVA, POGS, Philipson and Groenevagan. Give him credit for being the only mortal racing in the mvdp, wva, pogs world.
