- I thought I'd post this is radio interview that Mr. Bungle did in 1988 on a show called For Locals Only (Humboldt County radio station KFMI). They were promoting their new tape "Godammit, I Love America" It's hysterical! June 1st, 1988
I think this is most of the interview minus the songs that were played (the end gets cut off though). - Hudba
They were so delightfully obnoxious.
Inquisitive, young..and hung fellas..oh lord!
$4 to see ‘em in ‘88. Tickets are wild in 2019.
Any local band cost that

The interviewer's voice is amazing. Her timbre reminds me of Elizabeth Fraser

I do have audio from a live show from 1988 as well. I've been trying to track down the date & location of the show for a while based on the setlist (It may be the June 10th show they were promoting in this interview). Hopefully, I can put that up soon.

Just googled the address they referenced.
Looks like it's still owned by Trevor Dunn's parents.
What are the future plans for the band........lmao
This was June 01, 1988
Awesome! Thanks so much for the date. Have you checked out the live show from 1988 that I posted? I'm still trying to find a date for that. I had these both on cassette tape, but didn't know the exact dates. czcams.com/video/fxjyE5HBLfI/video.html

This is kinda sad. They where so good
I'm not quite sure this would be sad (the interview is pretty funny). Anyway, this was when they here just out of high school, a few years before first album.
@@jasontaboada6855 It's sad that times like these ended.
well...they are back now!
@@Bullkiddd Yep!
Sofa king cool! Can I get my hands on those early tapes they mentioned? Or, the musical performances from this set?
I uploaded a show that was recorded in 1988 close to this interview czcams.com/video/fxjyE5HBLfI/video.html You can also find those demos around the web & probably here on CZcams. I got tapes in the early 90s. Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny (1986); Bowel of Chiley (1987, CD re-issue 1991); Goddammit, I Love America! (1988); OU818 (1989).
11:40 It took me 2 fucking seconds to realize that one of the members live on an actual street named Willow street, and they weren't referencing Phasmophobia. I no joke thought they were referencing Phasmophobia and started laughing until I realized, the game came out obviously DECADES after this interview. It's crazy to see how they were ahead of their time a lot throughout their recordings, despite it being unknowingly.
lol
8:47 Is that Neil Hamburger ?
