Saw these dudes warm up for The Rolling Stones at Wembley Stadium back in the day. Awesome, Awesome band, hearing The Black Crowes make me glad to be alive. Rock on!!!
The Black Crowes are a proper band and groove, jive and rock like no other. They are on point individually and collectively. Their entire back catalogue is testament to their talent in the studio and in a live capacity. And, man, they sure do a mean cover! Long live The Black Crowes!
That boy put his foot in this one. Its a damn shame dope became his focus instead of the music. They came along at a time where rock and roll was in a bad place. The seattle sound was about the closest we had then these guys swept in and helped remind folks how good R&R with R&B was. He did Clarence Carter right with this version of back door santa. Saw them a few months ago and they sounded good. Dont have a clue why Chris was dressed like Colonel Sanders but put the strange Mick Jagger like moves and the plantation owner outfit aside and I'd say it was good. Now stay off that $#!+ and play us some music.
