#TheBlackCrowes #StingMe #Remastered - Hudba
I remember when this first came out in ‘92. I was holiday in California, over from England with some friends. We were all fans of the Crowes and had seen them previously in England on their first headlining tour. This came on the radio while we were driving and just blew us all away. I can remember it like it was yesterday, even though I’m now 54. Still my favourite Crowes song, just awesome rock and roll.
R and R never forgets. I'm over 5o now at the time busy, unaware really. So I get to discover it now...enjoying this and smashing pumpkins from that era right.
Very cool recounting! Thanks! They don't rock like this anymore. We're not old. This stuff is just too good for today. 👊
54 as well, and they were the biz, but boy did they lose the plot. 3 snakes was poor, but the last album was just dire. When they rocked they were the best.
I had a similar experience. On holiday in Canada from the UK in 92. First song I heard on the radio when I switched it on in the rental car. I had to find out who they were 👍🏼
Why do you prefer this over, say, “Remedy”?
An explosive opener to what I consider one of the best rock n roll albums of all time.
No Doubt About That!!!!!!
Yup.
This song is simply masterly and often unfairly forgotten when they do their lists of the best songs.
This song and the whole Southern harmony album rocks, from Australia Rock on Dudes and Dudettes
Kids today will never know the experience of a Black Crowes show, outside in the mud with 30,000 people having a good time
I was there. Piedmont Park, Atlanta, GA Norml festival 😉
@@user-kz7vx3yi4u alpine valley music theater. the "shake your money maker" tour. After ZZ Top kicked them off of tour
Tomorrow at Sweden Rock Festival i'll know.
Thank you for bringing the 70s to the 90s!
Amen to that !!!❤🎶🎵🎶💃
Heck yes!!!
Hahaha this is so sweet! 🤩✝️🐝
Thanks you for bringing that music to my ears now in the 20's 😄
@@CMDR_Tapeside 22/12/2021🇮🇹🤳🙏✍️👍👁️😍🤗😃😄😊😘🧔👀
They bring a kind of Woodstock vibe into the 90s . Great festival band..
The Greatest American Band in The Entire World History!!!!!
One of the very best American bands of all time
Thank fuck some other brother has ears.🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌✌️✌️✌️✌️👍👍👍👍💙💙💙💙😎😎😎🏴
Great piece!
Looks like a new Woodstock/Bethel
Pot=Maria(Marijuana)
Agreed. 😎🤘🏻🔥✨🎶✨🎸Awesome songwriters too.
Saw them live twice in a row... Both nights where sublime, they rocked the roof of the place!
Such a good band
The Black Crowes kick serious ass! Saw them live in 92 and to this day, that show is still the very best concert I've ever been to. It's a real shame the brothers Robinson couldn't get along cuz I'm sure we all missed out on a whole catalog full of BC jams while they were off acting like 2 year olds and getting nothing done.
Thirty years on this tune still puts a smile on my face and makes me turn up the volume to LOUD......
Damn good southern rock and roll...
Fav band of all time. And I’m an American rap, r&b girl. 💃🏽😅
Southern Harmony & Musical Companion is one of the greatest albums 📀 of all-time.🎵👉. I've seen the Crowes twice in concert.
This is what is missing in today's music
I'm 64 yo and still rockin. Peace, love and understanding was what we were about. Still am. I'm an old hippie who still love Rock. Past and present. I do love Disturbed too.
One of the best albums ever. Greetings from Stockholm. We miss you greatly 🌸🌿
Stones + Humble Pie = Black Crowes
i've listened to this song thousands and thousands of times, and what it's representative of what truly separates the crowes from their stones and faces forebearers: soul and groove! the crowes have it in spades and it comes so naturally to them and their songs in ways that stones could only dream of! this is the crowes gimme shelter, and dare i say it's just as good if not better!
Opening song on the High As The Moon Tour. One my favorite concerts to this day.
Watching this brings tears to my eyes. Those were the best of days. Cheers everyone. Peace ✌️ 😊
Bless the Rolling Stones and all the great rock n roll bands that fed from their groove (faces, little feat, Aerosmith, humble pie and of course, the Crowes)
I love you too baby 🍼 Black Crows💋💜🤟☁️☁️☁️🎈🎈🎈💌💖
Saw them at the Horde Festival outside of Baltimore - Allman Brothers, Black Crowes, Dave Matthews Band and Blues Traveler among others. The early 90's were a whole heap of music festival fun. Love this jam - they were young and peaking here.
I can still hear the piano, Eddie Harsch. Best wishes up above, from rural Mexico.
Had the pleasure of seeing them twice in a week in the mid 90's, midweek support for plant and page in Glasgow then down to the big smoke supporting the stones at Wembley stadium for the Saturday, great fucking days and memories that you'll have for life 😀👍
There will never be another Chris 👍👍🎵🎵🌺🌺 great upload!
I don't jump around the house thrashing a tennis racket often. But I'm jumping now ! and the best part , no friggin ads for 3 songs !
Yep. This song always gets me movin...and I'm 61
I liked that they had a 70's vibe, especially Chris, with his clothes and hair, AND I liked the fact that they had their own bluesy-jazzy rock sound and weren't just another flippin hair band!
Wow. Love ❤ the faces in the crowd. Rock it. Peace ✌ ☮
necesitamos de vuelta esos conciertos./ people need back those festivals
I get a kick out of Chris when he was young , so much energy
Definitely my favourite Crowes album this, just blindingly good. Saw them with the Stones on a hot summers day at wembley and just fuckin great, both bands. All you need is Blackberry Smoke, Georgia Satellites, hell, keep it on the black theme, Black Keys and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and I'd be in Rock n Roll heaven right there.Hell Yeah.
They definitely brought out a new 90's version of inner hippy out✌️✌️
Best band. Best shows.
Soo much soul - one of their best songs
Phenomenal!!!!
That’s some good shit right there!
swietny videoclip oraz super piosenka oraz wspanialy zespol the black crowes
CAN YOU STAAANG MEEE
The drummer is keeping it tight like a working mann should!
I DIG IT.
Superb.
It’s a tough competition, but this might be Rich Robinson’s greatest riff.
Saw the Black Crowes in San Jose for an Almost Acoustic Christmas show back in '94?? They were so good!! Two drummers and simply on top of their game. Sting Me is such a great song....I love Rich's playing....such a monster.
I'm hard pushed to find an equal opener to a sublime album. Thank u guys for the inspiration. Salut
Best song ever from you guys 😊
I love this band .❤
Great song !
Chris Robinson puts 1965 Mick Jagger to shame with his dance moves. Pure Fire!!!
This video brings back memories of the early 90s. Panchos, tie dies, and other hippie paraphernalia.
Not to mention all the good music. Those were the days.
Espetacular música , grande banda
Thought I was seeing Woodstock all over again.
A tune that always makes me smile and want to dance!!!
masterclass in pure rock n roll
I love Black Crowes!!!
I wish I could have been there. Unfortunately, this song came out 11 years before I was born. Luckily, I'll be able to see them this July in NC. Fortunately, the show is still on among the Corona virus outbreak.
Was about to say how few views this had but then I realised that it was only uploaded an half hour ago!
Сильнейшие рокеры суперская группа рок 🎸 навсегда

Steve Top 10 solid Drummers in the Biz Solid af 🎬
Saw the Crowes open for Petty and the Heartbreakers, what a rockin' show.
God I love that intro build up!
Baby!
This band kicks everybody's ass!!!
This and Remedy throw away pop songs on this album.
blessed and already lost 90's... how I would like them to come back
There bad a$$ rock on 🖤
Just came across this and you know what it was Woodstock again, only better. 2023 March
My fav Crowes track.
This video was recorded at the Pot Fest in Atlanta's Piedmont Park, not sure of the year but they debuted The Southern Harmony in its entirety at this show. I've seen the Crowes many times through the years but this show still stands out as one of the very best!
I was supposed to be there. My girlfriend and I traveled from the University of Alabama to see the show, but we had the wrong date! We sure could have used Google (or the internet for that matter) back then. We had a good time anyway, but I’m a little jealous of what I missed viewing this all these years later.
Seen them in 96 3 Snakes tour,,,,no banter all music AND were allowed film and audio equiptment !! Doesnt seem all that much now, but that was a pre-cell phone era
Good Stuff.
They got SOUL!
Yeah they do! Sounds great to my ears...🤘
@@lorriec8743 Mine too, always.
The only rock n roll band left fabulous band
Fantasic
Love that Chris💝💝💝💝
Greatest rock vocalist next to number 1 Steve Marriot
Yep. 🤟🤟🤟😎
southern harmony is perhaps the most important southern album to come out of the region since skynyrd's second helping
yes! ( *I was there for this video ...SHMC debut to the Atlanta hometown-Piedmont Park_ glorious day)
Kitty Kitty Boom Boom just thinking that had to be Piedmont Park.
@@KittyKittyBoomBoom apologies for my ignorance/laziness, it's probably in the details or comments somewhere, but what year was that?
@@markc4696 my guess would be '92 or so
It makes you wonder what they could have done. If the drugs and egos hadn't become more important than the music.
super
Cool
I. Love you Chris 💕😘
Their best song
😍😍😍👏👏👏
For me, it was REALLY Freaky. !! When my parents divorced, I lived all over the country. ( Messed up, I went to sooo many schools) & for a while I lived in the Atlanta area. & there were these 2 brothers. 1 quiet & introspective, the other, Allways saying he was "Gonna kick my ass" Hillarious ! Because I liked the kid, He was Hillarious !! & scrawny. He taunted me, With "Come on Miami boy" ((Inportant NOTE )) When in the South, NEVER tell anyone your from Miami, LA, NYC, you get it. I could go way deeper, But litterly, The 1'st time I heard them, I remember telling my friends, I lived in Miami & Santa Barbra. "I know these guys" & when I first saw them on MTV. ((When they actually played.. MUSIC)) I Freaked ! Yes, I knew these guys. I've been gigging/Touring for years... They remembered me. & have allways been incredibly cool with me. But daam, those guys fight over Nothing ! Uncomfortable !
My only claim to "knowing them" is being from the next town over and seeing them at several Atlanta area gigs in 1988-1989, including notably at American Pie just before they were signed. The rest is history!
Love the Crows, ive seen them about 4 times. This looks like Livestock a 3 day festival in the Tampa Fl area. They closed it and performed after Stone Temple Pilots . What a weekend.
I went to the first dirt stock, what 30 years ago 😂❤😂🎉
It's Piedmont Park in Atlanta. One of the pot fests. Idk which one. I don't go to those.
But it is Atlanta, I know. I was born there.
Could have some other footage in there too.
2:05 the dog pissing on the Budweisser, I bet the person drinking it didn't even notice.
ATL was awesome back then
Terry Teed vibes ❤️
