    You have shown me that the ugliest chunk of wood on the outside can be the most beautiful in side. Cant judge anything by what it looks like on the outside. Lesson learned. Bravo !

    Still loving your haircut. :) Wonderful piece you made, I wouldn't have thought that rotten stump would have looked so great. You have a wonderful imagination.

    Scott, Don't have the same types of wood here. That said I've gotten a chunk of wood from my spaulting pile. had to seriously wash it down. Doing an Omage to you. Letting the wood do the talking. Hope you're feeling better. Thanks for the inspiration! And the process you have evolved!

      Yes, let the wood do the talking. The wood always says it best.....at least better than I can :)

    You did it again "My Fine Man", Sir Scott!!!!!!!! The piece looks like a "Human Heart" even the colors where there might even be fat for the lighter colors. Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The top piece sticking out is the Aorta and the 4 chambers not completely, but close!!!

    My favorite place to find free wood is in the stream beds around Canyon Lake Tx. I just walk until something speaks to me. I love your work. I need a chainsaw now that I've seen how you work. You have inspired me. Thank you!😊

    Absolutely Fantastic! You are a true artist! way to go Scott, and glad to see you doing well. I think the majority of people would rather burn the wood! 😂

    Wow! This project appears to be one of your most challenging yet, Scott! I absolutely love it. That chunk of wood you started with looked like it might have been too far gone to get anything out of it. As always, you pulled out your magic wand, uttered a few incantations, and........just wow!

    • @scottoconnor
      @scottoconnor  Před 5 lety +2

      Thanks Paul - I went to the magic shop the other day and asked for a new wand but the guy handed me a chainsaw, a jigsaw and a grinder and said "Here, try these." He also told me to utter the incantation "freewood to wallart" as I was using them, so I did and then there was a big cloud of dust and it was done :)
