    Traditional jollof from the upper side of Ghana is one amazing food that i have discover during my tour. very simple and organic food by all standard. it require very simple ingredients and it very easy to prepare. hope you'll be availble to prepare some and feel this nutritious food.

    I'm from Paga and my dad used to prepare this for us when we were kids. Never knew the actual name but I do now thanks to you😊. It had so much guinea fowl and it was very delicious! I miss it and him too. RIP Dad

    Awesome. Thanks for sharing our food and culture bro. I am from Bolga but based in canada and this meal is one of my fave back home.
    It’s erroneous for you to call it Jollof!! … it’s not “Jollof” it’s a meal on its own which Can be eaten alone or with TZ
    We do have Jollof rice made with Shea butter oil , herrings, dawadawa and local Rice. Most people call it Dawadawa Jollof.
    And I could hear in the video the lady telling another person around 4:37 that it’s made as though it’s Jollof.
    Thanks once again for promoting our food.

      Sorry for the late reply...It the same millet but you have to blend or grind it a bit.. so u can put them in the blender and blend but not to be smooth

    I am a GHANAIAN. I don't know in the NORTH the people of FRAFRA have a traditional JOLLOF RICE food . I got to try this JOLLOF RICE food when ever I come across it . But when I come to GHANA I leave in TEMA how I can, I get this JOLLOF RICE for the first time.
    Maybe I have to look for a NORTHNA. I will try to find one 😁😁😁😁. THANKS.

    Interresting food. Mixing different kinds of meat in a same dish. I wonder if the dry fish is possible to eat as it is or if it has to be cooked always? I will use millet from now and I have to try sheabutter when I cook too. I feel hungry😊🙏🏻

      Yea very interesting food to try.... No you can eat the dry smoked fish like that, you just wash it with water and that it.... I also bought some millet yesterday and I want to try it myself. 💯❤️😍❤️ For the shea butter please make sure it get the raw original one... Not mixed.. 🙏💯

      The fish used for salted fish is called Tilapia.. But with that fish you can't eat it raw, you need wash and boil or roast/grill and wash to reduce the salt. For the shea butter if the food is hot then it will melt by itself when place on top. Onless you to want to cook from basic with it, that's where you'll fry it.

The surrounding area where the food you are eating together with the water used are something that need improvement. Just say we will get better Next time, don't behave it's ok or start a needless argument. It's not ok, especially something you will put into your body.
