CLIP DESCRIPTION:
While stuck in a mental hospital, Murdock (Sharlto Copley) prepares for his team to pay him a visit.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Director Joe Carnahan resurrects the popular 1980s-era action series with this explosive reboot following the adventures of four Iraq War veterans who begin a second career as mercenaries for hire. Col. John "Hannibal" Smith (Liam Neeson), Templeton "Face" Peck (Bradley Cooper), B.A. Baracus (Quinton "Rampage" Jackson), and H.M. "Howlin' Mad" Murdock (Sharlto Copley) are a group of former Special Forces operatives who have been fighting the good fight for eight years when they're sentenced to military prison for a crime they didn't commit. Breaking out with relative ease, they embark on a treacherous quest to clear their names while being hunted across the globe by Charissa Sosa (Jessica Biel), a high-ranking military officer and one of Face's many former lovers. Meanwhile, mysterious CIA operative Lynch (Patrick Wilson) offers tips that help point the federal fugitives in the right direction, which seems to lead straight to former military contractor Pike (Brian Bloom), who may have been responsible for setting them up in the first place. Just when it seems that the A-Team has all the evidence needed to prove their innocence, however, they discover that their latest mission is just getting started.

Say everything about this movie, but Sharito Copley as Murdoch is so spot on
All of them were spot on. Still blows my mind how well Liam Neeson pulls off Hannibal. Made it more funny when Hannibal was in disguise and Liam could just be himself.

When the 3D movie started the name Reginald Barclay was on the screen. That was Dwight Schultz’s character name on Star Trek TNG. For this who don’t know Dwight Schultz, he played Howling Mad Murdoch in the original tv series A Team
Even better because in the extended cut, Dwight Schultz was one of the doctors observing Murdoch's electro-shock therapy which made it twice as awesome.
If you read all of the actors listed for "The Greater Escape" they are characters that the original cast played at one time.

The hardened/ directors cut of this film is much much different mind, or as you say its really really bad error
Reviewing the footage, I believe they chose to forego tire continuity for the sake of continuity of perspective if that make's any sense. The initially filmed the scenes with the blown tire on the right, however when you have someone shooting left to right, you need to have the vehicle driving from left to right. Showing their escape from the compound was a necessity, so they bit the bullet and mirrored some of the scenes rather than re-filming for the sake of the budget. While it's true that this throws it off, it's less of a distraction than the perspective changing directions throughout the scene.
Never realized that they used the old show’s theme until I watched the old show.

I love how they timed it just right to crash through the real wall just when the movie Jeep approaches the screen.
I love how Murdock is peeking through the blind, and you hear him hark back to the camp in Iraq where he sang a song about Sosa and it mentioned Diablo which means the devil in Spanish and there he is whispering the word Diablo in relation to Sosa.
fun fact: The name Reginald Barclay on the screen at :45 is the name of a character Dwight Schultz played on Star Trek the next generation and voyager. Dwight was the original Murdock.

I loved this part 1st) if you recall in the pilot and in the series they used movie scams to get what they needed, 2) catch the names in the credits, Reginald Barcley, then a Thomas comes up (Banachek?), then what looks like G.F. Starbuck. You gotta love the writers' senses of humor about squeezing in their fun.
When Reginald Barclay came up on the screen i smirked knowing it directly corresponded to good old Broccoli onboard the Enterprise D.
