- A Japanese friend and I are considering publishing two basic guidebooks to Elvis Presley's FTD releases from 1999 to 2024. This video will show you what they may look like. Please leave feedback either way - interested or not. Thank you.

As a FTD Collector since 1999 YES PLEASE absolutely👍
It would be helpful to mention technical errors during the remastering by FTD, wrong Takenumbers / Takes or too fast Tape Speed on some Live-Shows and whether there are any correction Replacement CD's available. Thank You David btw the Video Picture Quality is good!
That's a great point about technical errors and so on. I'm sure I can rely on you (and others) 😉 to help out with such info. Thanks for the feedback!
Definitely interested
Thank you for your feedback!
I would certainly be very interested in this and can help with photos if need be. Love the channel and your work! Thank you
Great, thank you. If we go ahead, I'll be in touch.
Yes, I´d love it in my book collection!.😎
Thanks for your feedback!
Very good idea and you answered my only reservation..which would be how to keep it updated..Maybe like Presleyanna..but not waiting years for another release..Come to think of it there wouldn’t be too much to add into the vinyl section of late as production has slowed tremendously from the glory days of four a year..I’d be very interested to see how it evolves David
Cheers, Scott. Will keep you posted.
Yes, i would be interested in buying them. Thank you
Thank you for the feedback!
Great idea! I’m in!⚡️
Thanks for the feedback!
Absolutely yes. These would be my go to books for all FTD. Yes picture quality very good.
Thanks for the feedback!
Hi David , how are you my dear friend ? very interesting books, YES 100% would be happy to see those books in English , very well presentation of the FTD stuff :) great , Cheers, your friend: Lior
Cheers, Lior. Thanks for the feedback!
Good info 👍
Thanks 👍
Hi David, i too would be very interested in up-to-date English translations of these books on the FTD releases. Cheers.
Thank you for your feedback!
Brilliant looking books David and having in that format would be much easier to use than the heavy book set. I created my own spread sheet listing every FTD release I can give you for fast tracking fact checks on dates and cat numbers etc. Also having every release happy to share any info and images if missing. I would definitely purchase a book like this
Great, thanks Adam. I was going to ask you about that list, actually.
Wow my friend, definitely a go for me yes.yes, yes…asap! brilliant can’t wait!
Thanks for the feedback, Mal. Much appreciated.
Hi David, the Books look very good, very nicely structured, good color photo quality.
I find the books very interesting and put together with a lot of love.
A very welcome publication for me. Greetings from Germany, Stay Healthy
Thank you for your feedback!
Great idea. I would say go for it. I would buy it.
Thanks for the feedback!
Yes, that would be nice!
Greetings from Belgium.

Thanks for the feedback!
Yep, definitely would be interested
Thanks for the feedback!
That's a good idea and as an added bonus is to put them in a slipcase. Was at my local record store Red Eye Records and pick up Elvis Your the Devil In Disguise session. They were having a 20% off inshore only. Annoyed at the young teenagers as a bit of a crowd. They were buying vinyl. And yes , I'm on catch up mode as well.🤔😊
Nice set. I've got a few Sessions sets but haven't picked that one up. Thanks for the feedback!
Books look good David and as an FTD collector a guide to what I have would be very handy. So many releases to keep track off!! Good luck with it David.
Thanks for the feedback, Grant. Much appreciated.
Yes, I would like to have both books
Thanks for your feedback!
Yes, that would be nice books to have in English. Tyvm TCB ⚡️
Thanks for the feedback!
Hello David, I watch all the videos you post where I learn a lot about Japanese pressings, and congratulations again for the previous book which is magnificent, it would be interesting to republish these two books.
PS: I am French
Dominic
Hi, Dominic. Thanks for the feedback and the support. Much appreciated.
Yes I would be interested
Thanks for the feedback!
Would be definitely interested
Thank you for your feedback!
A definite yes from me ❤
Thanks for the feedback!
Very interested in the idea about a book covering the FTD releases! And yes… bit dark. Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback!
Hi David, l would buy them. I have the big box FTD it is too heavy to get out for me. It sounds a good idea to me! So it’s yes for me. You are a little too dark for me, so if you could go a little lighter please. Great video! Ellie 🎼🎶🎵🕺🏻❤️😃👍⚡️
Thanks a lot, Ellie, on both counts.
Even if I’m far from having that amount of FTDs, I think these books are useful and will be appreciated by many, just an opinion. Is great work⚡️ About the video, whites are white ok and now maybe just a tad more brightness, or better, a soft light spot just in front of you (diffuse light). Thanks for the video and おはようございます☀ there.
おはようございます to you too. I hope it's not 夜中 when you read this 😅 Thanks for the feedback! Thanks for the lighting tip as well.
Quite interested. Now get to it sir…. TCB ⚡️
Thanks for the feedback! Will keep everyone posted.
Hi David,
That would be really awesome! This review has everything it should be. It would be great if there will be an English language edition.
Thanks for the feedback!
Tcb David yes publish them.❤
We'll see what we can do and keep everyone posted. Thanks for your feedback.
Hi David , I would definitely be interested ⚡TCB ⚡
Thanks for your feedback!
David. I would definitely be interested in the books! Not buying much anymore in the way of new releases from FTD, no LPs, No DVDs either. Only things that are new and haven’t been released multiple times over the 47 yrs since Elvis’ death. Would only buy English versions
OK, thank you for your feedback.
I would be very interested.
Thanks for the feedback!
I’d buy both volumes David. My only requested change would be to put the releases in order they were released regardless of packaging size but keep the vinyl and books in their own category. 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks for the feedback!
Hi David , I would love to have them but just make a bigger book.
Hi, Jean. Thanks for the feedback!
Hi David! I have a friend who is very interested 😊 Cheers! 🎉
Thank you for your feedback!
I'm all for it, would love something like that. Video seems just a tad too dark to me.
Thank you for your feedback! Yes, I feel the same way about the video being a bit dark. Time for Plan B.
Hi David, I have stopped buying books quite a few years ago and I probably would not consider buying these. Books are expensive and time to read is scarce. I rather invest my budget in my vinyl collection.
I totally understand and appreciate you letting me know. Thanks, Alex.
Picture is too dark now. Like the books, I don't have much FTD but would like a record of them.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll make it brighter next time, thanks.
I like the idea of books if it has information not readily available on the CDs of vinyl themselves or from other easily accessible sources. How much additional information is included besides the track listing? I’d be interested in knowing things like how many copies were made of each CD, how many times was it repressed, when was it deleted, where the material was sourced from, were there problems with CDs that had to be replaced. Was there a reissue with changes to either the material on the CD or the jackets. Any bits of information that were not included on the original release would interest me.
Great feedback. Thanks a lot!
Hi David i would be interested in the books
Would prefer one bigger book though
Ps white balance was a bit dark for me lol
Thanks for the feedback. Printing one big book in Japan would, strangely, be more expensive than printing two smaller ones. We may get some more quotes for one book but the plan at the moment is for two. And thanks for letting me know about the video. It seems a bit dark to me too.
2 vol in only one book and waiting for more FTD releases
Thanks for your feedback.
Discographies are a favourite of mine. On many artists too. There has been a comprehensive book on FTD releases. Unsure if I'd buy this translated version you speak of. So many now and still being released the book would not be complete. Still many would buy it. You know anything with Elvis' name and likeness sells. I'm more selective. As a side note, Japanese records too are the least favourite of mine preferring records with the latin/roman typeface. Strange, I'm also drawn in by the presentation, unsure if I liked the books you showed.
There was a 3-volume set of FTD books, but it's been many years since it was published, and it was a very expensive item. We're considering something a little more straightforward. Thanks for the feedback!
Hi David! Yes!!! That would be amazing to have these 2 books in English! Nice!
As a collector and completist of everything FTD, this would be a great resource!
Thanks for the feedback, Mark!
Hi Dave ,I,d definitely be interested in these books being done with English text ,I really like the FTD release especially the vinyl I’ve only got a few but looking to get more ,just the price of them is ridiculous really ,I recently seen ,EL is back on eBay for £900 pounds can you believe that ,that’s barmy for me ,blue Hawaii also is really expensive ,but these books look the biz for me ,take care ,tony
It's amazing the prices the FTD LPs go for. You can get several original albums for less. They're very classy records, though.
Thanks for sharing David, I'd be in, particularly if you're going to bring it right up to 2024, as the Lorentzen set is very out of date now. The video did look a little too dark btw
Thanks for the feedback, Sean. I'll keep fiddling with the camera settings, I guess.
Oh My God....I had no idea FTD has produced so much!!! Those guidebooks are invaluable, even if one wasn't buying the FTD products. I'd love to have them in English, just to look through
Thanks for the feedback! Yes, I think FTD has released more titles in 25 years than RCA did in the same period from 1956.
