I am 71years old and participated in and was arrested in anti-apartheid demonstrations as a student in South Africa over 50 years ago. On the one hand, it is depressing that Apartheid still exists on the other, it is so heartening to witness the courage of these students. For the powers of the empire, their repression is opening a bigger can of worms than they could have imagined: the eyes of this generation are being opened to the horrors of imperialism and racism and this will have repercussions even wider than the fight for the freedom of Palestine

This was a beautiful conversation born from such a horrific series of events. Thank you for bringing together so many greats minds who are all so deeply affected by this ongoing issue. I have been watching with growing anxiety as one after another police forces are unjustly set on peaceful protesters, only to be met with more outrage spawning a new protest to their actions, on top of the original protest they were trying to squash. It is getting pretty terrifying seeing the military state unleashed on harmless voices, while actual acts of violence like the literal hurling of explosives into an encampment at UCLA are met with absolutely no action whatsoever, and in fact are justified by the violent deployment of mobs of cops who shoot, beat and smother harmless students who were attacked the night before for voicing their opinion.
Keep up the amazing work, and I hope you are right that we will see Palestine free very soon. The Israeli government seems to be imploding at the moment because of all this. I only hope for the least amount of casualties as the inevitable chaos ensues over there.
