What if…Strange Supreme Intervened? Season 2 Episode 9 Finale Breakdown & Easter Eggs!

The Season 2 Finale of ‘What if…?’ was an absolute treat for Easter Eggs! It’s almost like an animated sneak-peak at Avengers Secret Wars! Today let’s breakdown the epic finale of the latest season of #WhatIf titled ‘What if…Strange Supreme Intervened?’ We will look out for all the easter eggs, references and little things you missed in this episode! I think it’s safe to say that this was a very surprising finale, instead of taking the usual route of a team-up to defeat a villain like in the Season 1 finale ‘What if…the Watcher broke his oath?’, this episode sees a familiar foe threaten the multiverse, requiring a one Captain Carter to work together with our new friend, Kahhori to take down Strange Supreme whose grief has overwhelmed him.
Throughout the episode we see a lot of variants of our favourite characters, including some notable interactions starring Hela, the Goddess of Death, Zombie Scarlet Witch aka The Dead Queen, Thanos with all 6 infinity stones, Infinity Killmonger, a cyberkinetic Rocket, a cowboy Loki, a blonde Wenwu and the Ten Rings, the Great Protector Dragon from Ta Lo, a gamma empowered Thor aka Thulk from the comics, Vision, Captain Marvel, two Thors fighting one another, Atahraks, the Collector and many many more! The Marvel intro sequence has also been transformed into animation and featuring all ‘What if…?’ characters and moments, don’t worry though, we’ll bring you through all the easter eggs and references so get comfortable and let’s breakdown the finale of Season 2!
