Malkoff is second to none in durability and reliability. The BGV1 was my first Malkoff and I now have two more. Very dependable, potted, and the best customer service/warranty. Also a very honest and transparent company with true specs
I prefer the unshrouded switch for the BGV1 because it can be hard to push the shrouded switch with your thumb for a shorter light. But I got the BGV2 (longer 18650 bodyguard) with a shrouded switch and find it’s a lot more intuitive and easier for my thumb to activate the switch. Great review!
absolutely my friend. agreed on all points. tom gene and cathy are great to talk to and have been some of the best service ive had in many years! i will be doing more reviews of their stuff in the future. any suggestions for lights to try out?
@@TheFossilChannel Maybe one of their more EDC/utility lights. I think those are a lot more popular/appeal to more people than the bodyguard series. Something like the 1AA/2AA or 16650 lights for utility/tool rather than tactical use like the bodyguards
