I guarantee y'all will lose because the Celtics depend on the three too much. Even when having big leads the Celtics keep shooting threes and when they get cold it allows teams to comeback. Also Jason is a great player, but he's arguably the worst #1 out of all the contenders. So if games are close in the 4th quarter, the Celtics can look sloppy.

i think this is why some lakers fans are hoping the lakers lose now. they know they wont beat the nuggets. the hope is by going through the okc path where they have a strong chance of winning, the nuggets either:
a. lose to another team so it's not the lakers problem anymore
b. suffer a significant injury (this happens in the playoffs often enough. ask any team that has played the miami heat the past 3Y).
if i was a lakers fan, i'd absolutely want my team to duck denver and hope either of the above happen. this ensures a longer playoff run too instead of being bounced early in the 1st round which is good for the owners in terms of ticket sales.

Giannis made some mistakes himself, mostly with the Coaching situation but I said over a year ago he needed to get out of there. Middleton hasn't been hungry since he won, and purposely comes back slow from injury, that's where the "including the ballboy" comments Giannis made last summer came from. He's sees it in the whole organization. When key teammates hesitate to work out hard in the summer the writing is on the wall.
With Dame the truth is, he's NEVER in his nba career had REAL expectations to win the whole thing. Even the year Porland went to the WCF wasn't real because at the time only 2 teams per division could get a top 2 seed. So Portland ended up with a higher seed than 2 teams that had better records than them. I just think if Dame was playing as well as he did last season we wouldn't be hearing about his personal life at this particular time as that stuff has been going on for a while. The narrative is timed well, kids are getting their excuses ready before the playoffs start and we all know Doc has a hard time reigning in his players...
I've been a Dame fan and I am not falling off in anyway but its amazing how things change when there's actually expectation. He has not played well this season but I also blame the front office for not surrounding Dame and Giannis with better players especially on the perimeter. And we all know about Doc's body of work lol

The reason Bucks are struggling this season is because of Doc Rivers and Khris Middleton. Middletown went from 20ppg to 15ppg! Also Giannis’s & Brook Lopez’s defense got exposed! Jrue Holiday made them look good on the defensive side

I am a lifelong Bucks fan and I hated the trade for Lillard from the start. My feeling is he is a great scorer with a game full of holes while Holiday plays a complete game. (ie Damian is a great scorer while Jrue is a great basketball player). Undersized and not super interested in playing on the defensive side Lillard is a one way player that has never been able to carry a championship team. He needs to embrace the role as Gianni’s’ sidekick. He may even be less important to winning than Khris Middleton. Lillard is a sidekick whose efforts to lead a team have never been successful. Simply put Holiday+Grayson Allen are far superior to Lillard and Beasley. We gave up a tone to have less talent on the team.

I feel it isn't mentioned near enough how the players the Bucks gave up to get lillard have been doing. Allen and Holiday have averaged a combined 66 minutes a game for their new teams, while being two of the best 3 point shooters the league, Allen in particular being one of the best the league has ever seen. Holiday finished the year 43% from 3, Allen finished 46.1% from 3. They literally traded away the 8th best and THE best 3 point shooter in the entire league in an era where 3 point shooting has never been more valued. That's before even mentioning their efficient 2 shooting, assists, rebounds, steals, etc.
Forget Holiday, that deal wasn't happening if he wasn't involved, but can you imagine how much better the Bucks would look right now if they just still had Allen? Of course there's no way of knowing if he'd have this level of success with the Bucks, but this isn't just a Dame not working situation, this is a Dame not working AND they gave up two players who very much ARE working to get him.
