100%, let's hope they all put in decent performances. Let's also push these teams to continue playing the copa america and potentially joining both confederations
This isn't the Brazil of Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Robinho, Roberto Carlos and so on. However, this isn't the United States of Dempsey, Donovan, Bradley, Altidore either. No longer that magical Brazil but also the next level of talent for the US.
USMNT actually is a good team, it has quality players and they play well, but they deserve a quality coach, the mistake was to underestimate and think that the only ones who play in South America are Brazil and Argentina, when today the quality gap is very adjusted, today the South American style of soccer is different from the European one, faster, more vertical, less technical and more aggressive. They tied against Brazil because they respected their rival from the beginning and played with everything, the opposite happened against Colombia, I hope you have opened your eyes and I wish you a great Copa America Greetings from Medellin Colombia 🇨🇴
I would say it's actually worth watching the whole match vs. the highlights. I think you'll get a better feel for how the match actually went. USA in possession was a lot better than how the highlight shows.
Keep in mind this US team was missing Dest, arguably their best defender, and Sargent, arguably their best striker, so on a starting lineup standpoint, this US team wasn’t at full strength
US sucks and our team is not even good. We over here acting as if they are the greatest team ever but they are mid at best. They don't even get played with their club teams and we expect them to play well in international out of nowhere.
Most encouraging thing to me for USMNT was with Sergino Dest injures and out at RB we started Joe Scally (Borussia Munchen Gladbach, Bundesliga) and while he doesn't offer a ton going forward he stayed in Vini's pocket all game and was excellent against the Brazilian wingers. Gregg still playing guys out of position. Until Gregg is fired (which he won't be until after WC) we can only go a our players can take us. We should be in a 4-2-3-1 with Reyna as a 10. Reyna should take corners. Very obvious stuff but Gregg was and again will be the worst coach of any team in the WC. Squandering the greatest group of guys the US has ever had. I'm sure you know his brother got him the gig and even signed him on for a second 4 year cycle. They are stifling American soccer in favor of keeping their boy. It's TRASH. We've got a good squad who can compete but not while having to overcome an absurd managerial deficit led by his ego and his ineffective system.
Tbh I though we were gonna get trashed by Brazil after the Colombia game, but I’m glad that SCALLY hold up his own against not only deviLUCHO Díaz but also Vinicius Jr. Now this is what the expectations for this time. LT SAYING WIN THE WC OR ANY MEANS but at least make it tougher and make every single team a life living hell. Kind of like the 2009s, 2010s and 2014s team who we were less talented but they ALWAYS got a chip in their shoulder and a fire in their belly. A attitude of “we are worse than you, but we’re gonna make you F*CKING work for it, you ain’t beat us that easily”. Kind of like a Clint Dempsey attitude. And FINALLY… I still want Berhalter out. #Berhalterout #Berhalteroutagain
11:47 he didnt dive here buddy, guessing you never played football in your life. Also didnt hear anything about joao gomes getting the ball in pulisics foul. He clearly got the ball
I don't think you know ball, if you look at the replay and slow it down you can actually see his foot didn't make contact, and this coming from a mexico fan
@@highlightclips4383its not even a clear foul, let alone a dive. And from where i come from, college football isnt rated as pro. You cant see us and be fair can you? Always with the double standards... Keep the same energy
Seems like all of the CONCACAF teams needed a game to wake them up. All 3. USA, Mexico, and Canada did much better in their second game this break.

@@sadnomowe Agreed. Copa America having all of the Americas like the Euros or Asia.

This was an intense game nerve raking to say the least but very exciting
When are we getting a France vs Canada reaction
Bro can we get an Ecuador Bolivia reaction, I’m an Ecuador fan
When they sky those shots are they accidentally leaning back too much or are they expecting the spin to turn it over and pull it down?

France vs Canada reaction?

Dest is not our best defender he’s our best attacking fullback
@@cbanklit Dest makes great defensive plays all the time, attacking is just one of his qualities, and I said arguably
With dest occasionally I’m terrified when he’s defending but I do believe he is our best fullback but not our best defender
Scally is better defending but Dest adds so much going forward

*-BRAZIL: How lazy it makes me play these games against Third World Football Teams*
*-NARRATOR: It's the United States team*
Keep in mind, USA majority doesn’t care much for soccer (fútbol).

we have great young talent. we do not have a great young team. like Chess...
we do not have game understanding

He got the ball after he got the man.

João clearly went through the tangent and got only the ball, pulisic made contact after he made his action. Not a foul
Richards got ball first, clear dive. And he played college football so he probably has more experience than you.

Can't watch a team that puts the "pride" colors on the numbers.
Cry me a river. It’s not that deep. 🤦♂️
well, its just the usa team. you can spend your 90 minutes doing better things.
