Currently the most fashionable way to execute political opponents is to use battle poisons. Zarin, Zoman, Novichok - numbers of them. No matter of hundreds of collateral victims of course.
Most commonly episode 109 hard bargaining. However that being the episode she was given the pistol. Now on many many many other episodes she displays and uses the pistol. So yeah lots of episodes, if you watched the show you'd know. Go watch the show it's on prime, it's a solid show.
It all comes back to that old adage, "The best carry weapon is the one you actually carry." If the unique factor is the element that gets you to strap your holster on every morning, then that's just fine in my book.

They smashed the shield, decided "yeah that would break your arm, Club wins." Problem is that Viking Shields aren't meant to be held like that with no give. I know a dude who has one that he EDC's, and has since 1997. you say you love yours, well dude has had his NP3 coated, tritium sights, had a trigger job done to it. not even going to lie, he has spent more in shipping from having to send it off, than it cost him to buy the damn thing in 1997. he also bought it from the fayetteville gunshow, when it was still worth going to for buying guns, and not just catching a cold from attending. First thing I thought of, and it’s a MAJOR plus for the Makarov... if you have to use the weapon in a self defense scenario, it’s going to likely be seized and held by law enforcement while the case is investigated. A $200 pistol isn’t a huge loss for a time. A $1000 seized handgun would sort of heart the old heart. So it’s a fine choice, Brandon. 👍🏼
When i took my cc class the instructor spent about 30 minutes going over how important it was to carry the gun that you like the most. the one that was special to you. weight, printing, etc was all worth considering, but in the end of the day, what was most important, was to carry the gun that you shoot, and enjoy shooting the most. And therefore end up training the most. That extra 100 rounds becouse that gun just tickles you. yes a S&W 500 will stop any intruder and the one behind him, but its that extra 100 rounds every range day for the last ten years that lets you neutralize a target when it matters
Agreed. For the longest time, my only viable edc was a makarov. Personally, its slim profile and direct blowback makes it too snappy for me. After shooting/buying a CZ, my P01 encourages me to shoot it a lot more.

During the summer my carry is a GLOCK 42 with +2 mag extensions, it's really concealable, super light and with FEDERAL HST ammo, I feel secure with this gun and a extra magazine to get me home safely.
Between you and Hickock 45, I was convinved and I bought a Bulgarian Makarov. They are pretty damned sweet! I also bought a polish P64 (not really a mak), it's pretty rad as well. Edit: yes, my mak made the Kessle run in under 12 parsecs.

I've been carrying a Bulgarian Makarov so long I can't remember when I didn't have it, I believe as soon as they were imported, I paid $85 new in cosmoline. My son liked mine so much he got one. It's smaller then my Glock 19, durable, reliable. I have a paddle holster with 2 extra mags in pouches. Summer it and the mags easily fit into the pockets of cargo shorts. Is it the greatest? No but a hammer in the hands of one man beats the crap out of things, in the hands of the right man it's a tool.
I've had a Russian Makarov, and a tula Tokarov, but it was when I ran across a Romanian version, double stack, I really got happy. Double stack double action first round, and dead accurate, what more could one want? Semper Fi! I always pick up the ammo and weapons of my enemy.
Everything you've said about the safety is why I've determined that I want a Beretta 92 series. The decock lever is such a smart feature. Also my screwed up brain also doesn't like the idea of having one in the pipe and a spring loaded device ready to fire one into something that doesn't need to be fired into...
I've been using my makarov as my edc since I got it 17 years ago. Fun side note. All guns have a "de" cocker mechanism. I just read a news story about a guy the other day that decided to use his waistband as a holster and got "de" cocked. Lol
i remember back in the day, when ''deadliest warriors'' was a thing, my favorite episode was the Spetznaz episode, and MOSTLY the amazing holster for the makarov that also let you have the gun without a round in the chamber BUT when you pushed down the holster it pulled the slide back and loaded a round in the chamber as you got the gun out of the holster safest way to carry a pistol in my mind, still carry a empty chamber , but still getting a loaded pistol as you got it out of the holster

My EDC is a .45 1911A1. There are some REALLY immature kids in the gun community that will call you a fudd for admitting you like the 1911, which makes literally no sense. In every realistic situation, it doesn't matter if you have 7 rounds or 15. I love the weight, the feel, and the fact it was my father's so it has a lot of history behind ig.

CZ82 for me. But I love the Makarov too. The 9x18mm ammo is equivalent in power to the .38 Special -- only without the overpenetration issues. It's a lighter slug moving faster, so even FMJs usually expend all their energy within the target -- important for city dwellers. The CZ82 carries a baker's dozen rounds, and it fits perfectly in Makarov CCW holsters. But you need a magazine loader, and it's really picky about magazines. Super accurate though with the rigidly mounted barrel. A Russian general told me Warsaw Pact pistol qualification is done at 80 meters. I'll probably pick up a nice Mak someday.
I have an unnatural obsession with the berretta 92/m9, it was in max payne, it was the cool cop pistol, you could dual wield them in counterstrike, seeing one in a game always makes me happy, it's always my go to choice for games that have it and if i ever get out of california i need to save up for a custom berretta.
I've always considered carrying a Makarov bc of its extreme reliability/durability, and bc lets face it, it's just sick af. Seeing someone else actually carry one makes me feel less stupid

It sounds stupid but we had like 6 shootings? Including 2 with AKM's cause combloc (one liquidation of gang leaders gone wrong called Magdalenka shooting and one prison guard just magdumping into people and then being shot by his comrades) and one with grenades and Mauser's (1920s were fucked up man) and death amount to all of that would be less than 20 dead through over 100 years. (And to clarify I mean from 1918 when Poland reappeared to 2022 with exception of wartime). So I guess the system somehow works.

I passed my CCW class with a Bulgarian Makarov, and got into the pistols because Deadliest Warrior.
That's way worse than Burn Notice, tbh.

I've been carrying a Bulgarian Makarov so long I can't remember when I didn't have it, I believe as soon as they were imported, I paid $85 new in cosmoline. My son liked mine so much he got one. It's smaller then my Glock 19, durable, reliable. I have a paddle holster with 2 extra mags in pouches. Summer it and the mags easily fit into the pockets of cargo shorts.
Is it the greatest? No but a hammer in the hands of one man beats the crap out of things, in the hands of the right man it's a tool.
I've had a Russian Makarov, and a tula Tokarov, but it was when I ran across a Romanian version, double stack, I really got happy. Double stack double action first round, and dead accurate, what more could one want? Semper Fi! I always pick up the ammo and weapons of my enemy.
Everything you've said about the safety is why I've determined that I want a Beretta 92 series. The decock lever is such a smart feature. Also my screwed up brain also doesn't like the idea of having one in the pipe and a spring loaded device ready to fire one into something that doesn't need to be fired into...

I've been using my makarov as my edc since I got it 17 years ago. Fun side note. All guns have a "de" cocker mechanism. I just read a news story about a guy the other day that decided to use his waistband as a holster and got "de" cocked. Lol

i remember back in the day, when ''deadliest warriors'' was a thing, my favorite episode was the Spetznaz episode, and MOSTLY the amazing holster for the makarov that also let you have the gun without a round in the chamber BUT when you pushed down the holster it pulled the slide back and loaded a round in the chamber as you got the gun out of the holster

My EDC is a .45 1911A1. There are some REALLY immature kids in the gun community that will call you a fudd for admitting you like the 1911, which makes literally no sense. In every realistic situation, it doesn't matter if you have 7 rounds or 15. I love the weight, the feel, and the fact it was my father's so it has a lot of history behind ig.

Wow man thanks for making this video. I definitely agree, using guns is way less messy than bombs etc. I completely understand your point of view. Also its easier to stop a person with a gun than a bomber.
CZ82 for me. But I love the Makarov too. The 9x18mm ammo is equivalent in power to the .38 Special -- only without the overpenetration issues. It's a lighter slug moving faster, so even FMJs usually expend all their energy within the target -- important for city dwellers. The CZ82 carries a baker's dozen rounds, and it fits perfectly in Makarov CCW holsters. But you need a magazine loader, and it's really picky about magazines. Super accurate though with the rigidly mounted barrel. A Russian general told me Warsaw Pact pistol qualification is done at 80 meters. I'll probably pick up a nice Mak someday.

I carry a 1911 in .45 acp. I’m also a big fan of impractical edc. My other edc is a .40 S&W with a 25 RD. mag. Both of them carried appendix style

I have an unnatural obsession with the berretta 92/m9, it was in max payne, it was the cool cop pistol, you could dual wield them in counterstrike, seeing one in a game always makes me happy, it's always my go to choice for games that have it and if i ever get out of california i need to save up for a custom berretta.
I've always considered carrying a Makarov bc of its extreme reliability/durability, and bc lets face it, it's just sick af. Seeing someone else actually carry one makes me feel less stupid

Poland: You HAVE TO conceal carry and not on every permission (for collecting and souvenir purposes you need a permission from police to carry a loaded gun)
It sounds stupid but we had like 6 shootings? Including 2 with AKM's cause combloc (one liquidation of gang leaders gone wrong called Magdalenka shooting and one prison guard just magdumping into people and then being shot by his comrades) and one with grenades and Mauser's (1920s were fucked up man) and death amount to all of that would be less than 20 dead through over 100 years. (And to clarify I mean from 1918 when Poland reappeared to 2022 with exception of wartime). So I guess the system somehow works.
You should carry an ak slung under your shirt at all times, it's all about stopping power.
