we finally found the other good beginner bikes other than a turbo hayabusa
Fr I'm looking at the triumph Castrol rocket. Seems just right to learn how to ride
Kawasaki H2 😅😲🥹😤
The Jade Warrior looked like a good bike for MSF courses.
"a lot of step siblings would be in trouble" 😂😂😂
Two turbo busa's ...how do you keep on the flip flops?
U joke, but at 400 mph, my concern about safety gear is that it might prolong the suffering. For once, bring on the flip flops.
duct tape
Just ride barefoot like a real man
@@avet4521It's true. At that speed you are a armed missile. Nothing could save you. If you feel your best naked probably your best bet.
Yam... do a story about the Isle of Man TT
Yes, absolutely love that race. Me and my brother have rode with the Dunlops on a track. They are just something else. We did 12 laps and they beat 3rd place by I think a whole minute. And this is group a racing
That was 11 months ago isn't it?
In the beginning of this video you have a picture of Glen Curtiss on the V8 motorcycle he set a world speed record of 130 something on the beach sand of Ormond Florida in around 1907. Glen Curtiss is the first person to fly an airplane a mile, which was done at the southmost point of Keuka Lake at Hammondsport New York. There is a museum shared with the local police department there and that V8 motorcycle is sitting right next to the cash register. Glen Curtiss liked V8 engines and designed aircooled ones for his airplanes which you can see in the museum. Like most people in early motorcycling, he started out with bicycles and built motorcycles with one, two, and three cylinders in a Harleyesque pattern. There is all kinds of interesting things in that museum, like washing machines with gas engines and pictures of early balloon flight and manufacture. Take a trip to see it and visit the Gold Seal winery just up the road...
Over time, engineers will find a way for 850cc engines to be almost as fast as the ones we currently have in the Moto GP.
That Glenn curtis bike at 136mph, wow just wow. Massive stones indeed!
Congrats on the kid man and thanks for the awesome content.
I am happy to hear that you are such a MotoGP fan. Judging from the statements you made, whether it be about the tracks or riders, -YOU- are just as informed and into it as I am, and have been since the days of Eddie Lawson, Freddie Spencer, and Kevin Swance. Yes, I'm old, but still appreciate your content and channel. Even the information you share that I've known for longer than I care to mention is a great refresher AND I pass on some of those to young/new riders I know. Thanks again Yammy!!!
@yammienoob About the forthcoming 850cc MotoGP bikes... You're so young you might not remember ;) But MotoGP allready tried the 800cc engines. For seasons 2007-2011 the former 990cc engines were reduced to 800cc to lower the speeds and make racing safer. It did drop the top speeds on straights but it didn't make racing any safer, quite contrary. The 800cc bikes were lighter and had their center of mass way lower so the speeds in corners got higher. And you might have guessed, very rarely there are crashes on the straights... With 800cc bikes the amount of crashes in corners didn't grow by much but those crashes happened in way higher speeds than in 990cc era. So, after just four years they went into 1000cc bikes wich were actually safer than the 800cc bikes. :'D
This was a fun video. Thank you for making this.
Right up my alley!! Just tryin to go fast on two
One of your best videos so far:D i really enjoyed watching it here in germany;)
I've ridden six different motorcycles at Bonneville seven times and will ride my seventh bike at my 8th Bonneville this year (2024). I've got close to 200 mph (196.3 mph) and close to record on a Rocket 3 last year before getting spit off and completely trashing that Rocket 3.
I only intended to do it once but kinda got hooked on it. I thought it would be easy but quickly found how hard it is to go fast the Bonneville. Guy Martin can testify how much fun it is and how hard running at Bonneville is.
Getting a little jawked dawg big ups
Why do I have a feeling this video is gonna be one of the most popular ever
Dude heads up, I had to re subscribe to ya. Still got your videos on my feed, but thought it was weird. Keep posting kick ass content!
Brilliant video ❤
I am ALWAYS AMAZED seeing someone doing a dank nooner or catching a ton of air GOING AROUND A CORNER!!!!! Physics shouldn't allow it!!! 😂😂😂
Yammi is gonna have a baby noob!!!!! Congrats my Pappa!!!
MotoGP mentioned so I am off to nerd out. Thanks.
This channel could use some mph/kph conversions for the non-american audience
Right?! I can imagine a pound of spuds, but 376lbs of spuds?! A lot of spuds!
If you have time to watch this you have time to learn how to do the conversion your self 😂
To the victor go the spoils....

Don't recall Yam mentioning Bill Warner's 311 mph 1.5 standing mile Hayabusa.
Incredible video I really enjoyed this. Vr 46 forever
Casually saying he has a kid on the way, congrats yammie!
Congratulations for Noob Jr.🎉🎉🎉
Years back there was a guy in Arkansas(?) who was mating a motorcycle with a jet turbine engine from an Army helicopter. Mind-bending power!
yeah there really such a thing as "too fast"!
My highest speed was 154mph and I have no desire to revisit that speed!
A story about the Isle of Man tt would be fire
Did I hear mention of a baby calamari? Congrats Papa yam!!!
"Rocky Robinson" 🤣 Reminds me of Ritchie Blackmore.
finally a good beginner bike
Congratulations on the baby yam!! Now you can really call yourself papa yam. 😉
2026 motogp season should have a one-season-only increase to 1399cc as a last horah
8:35 that's my boss Rich Vreeland!
Question: If bikes like the M1000XR and Duacti Multistrada V4 RS. Are apparently more comfortable Supersports. Do you buy a supersport for tracks and looks? What exactly do you do with these bikes. I'm new and curious.
A sports tourer will have a more upright riding position and be more comfortable than the sports versions. They're built for long tours but with sports bike looks .
Can you do a vehicle, either together or separate, identifying the motorcycles in Torque and Biker Boys? Maybe even make it a collab.
My buddy Jim Higgins - aka - fireman Jim - Got records with Hybusa s and Buells.
I feel like it might not be as scary doing it in the land speed breaking "motorcycles" since you're really in a car. I bet going 200mph on a regular Hayabusa would be scarier than 400mph in the land speed race version.
I thought you gave the busa to the bearded mechanic after it blew up?
It's not just twin turbo but a twin engine bussa
u should difintly do a weekly motogp-sbk video. there is very few information about it in english, due to ditactorship of the rights of dorna. but u can be the first one to make realy big . u already have the base(setup cpmmunity of fans , etc). i mean , there are a lots of channels about f1, beign most boring than golf . u can make it . go ahead
Is the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R a good beginner bike, or should I stick to the Ninja 500? Because the Ninja ZX-6R is my dream bike.
I'd stay on the 500 for another year or two, the 6R is a beast as far as 600cc sportbikes go. I've ridden just about every class of motorcycle there is out there in 40+ years, currently ride (and drag race) a ZX-14R and that 6R is fast as hell.
Can you imagine doing 136 mph on a bicycle with a V-8 wearing a leather helmet?
Faz o que gostas, se não fazes um video por semana, faz só um naquele GP que for realmente muito muito bom.
nós aqui vamos ver o video de certeza. uma coisa informal só para te divertires um bocadinho a mandar umas postas de pescada com se diz em portugal.
I think motorcycle landspeed record should have more criteria
What do they use for CHAINS in these multi-hundred horsepower builds?!
i think these bikes use belts?
Well, typically 520 chains can hold a lot of power, if you buy the expensive high tensile stuff, some rated up to 9,540 lb tensile and 200 hp.
525 and 530 chains can hold a lot more. I'm not aware (but there probably is) of fatter chains for the big turbo drag bikes. I've seen some transmission castings crack loose because the countershaft sprocket pulls so violently that either the swingarm bends or the engine casing cracks open.
RK makes drag and road-racing 530 chains rated for 350+ horsepower, rated 11,880 lb tensile strength.
@@exothermal.sprocket Same chain I put on my Kawi 14R, RK 530. I know it's overkill for a 200 hp bike but too much is never enough. (At least that's what SHE tells me...)
@@scottfortner9512 You'll never reach the "rated" tensile, which has a safety factor built into it. The only gains you get from 530 over the narrow chains is just less wear on the rollers and greater longevity. The downside is increased mass of sprockets and chain.
😂😂😂 Step busa help my turbos stuck...
"he broke numerous records including his arm" 😂😂😂
No love for American Flat Track? AFT is way underrated IMO
Turbo Busa @3:40
What about the turbine Y 2K?
170 in THIRD ? My goodness
I'm surprised given the fact you're American, you didn't mention Bill Warner who did 298mph in a standing mile, and 311mph in 1.5 miles.
Also shane stubbs who has done 277mph, and 265mph on a naked hayabusa. He also has the half mile record at 241mph
There's those that buy bikes because they want to go fast, then there's those that want to go REALLY FAST.
Which are you?
Yall think a turbo busa is to small for my first msf course
I gotta say it: streamliners and drag bikes with training wheels are not motorcycles! Streamliners are completely enclosed with the driver sitting in a seat, so they are two wheeled cars; they also have the extra wheels that retract at speed, so they don't truly only have 2 wheels either. Same with Drag bikes with training wheels, they have 4 wheels and up to 3 touching at a time, so not motorcycles; although, technically I'd agree with calling them trikes.
See you ina that discord good sir I’m east coast got work at 8 it’s two I have a problem it’s fine
So we’ll be getting a cbr850RR
What channel does one actually get to watch MotoGP and WSBK?
It depends on what country you're in as to which provider has it. In the United States, MotoGP is on TNT Sports channel, but even that is somewhat regional (I don't have it available in my area). WSBK is on MAVTV in the USA. YCMV (Your Country...)
Anyone else went back to hit pause on 5:57??

750 HP bike🙀🙀🙀
Now THIS is some good click bait😂
07:05 how can a bike be front wheel drive whe there is no drive to the front wheel.......at any time.!!! it is meerly coastig during those moments. DUH!
They say the top fuel bikes handle better while the front wheel is in the air..
Considering the rear tire is 10.5 inches wide, I'd assume that it wound be pretty stable on just that over a bicycle tire up front
woahhh!!!
They become three wheelers not fwd vehicles.
You are legit full of it if you think for a second that drag racing is the purest form of racing.. It is actually the form of auto racing that requires the least amount of skill.. BY FAR... ANY and all motorcycle racers who have actually raced outside of a straight line knows this without a second thought.. Chirp up if you have multi discipline 2 wheel titles... Maybe you won a Moto GP or even better... The TT.. Yeah.. Exactly....
"moto gp" "too fast" isnt that kinda the point?
@yammienoob its always a good day when you post a new video ❤️
53 seconds is crazy
MotoGP bikes will be faster going to 850cc, I guarantee it. That's how it works. But so good they're toning down aero, it's garbage. I hope they get rid of it entirely
The fuck is this 45 second add before the vid.
tip top clip. but please no more cancer in the thumbnails. you're better than that!

MotoGP didn’t get too fast. That phrase is stupid. Can the riders handle it? Yes? Well then go off. If Isle of Man is allowed then 1000cc 350kph MotoGP bikes on normal street circuits is allowed.
I was the 2000th view
Wsbk is waaayyy better then motogp.. motogp has tried way to hard to be like F1 and its ruined motogp..in my opinion of course

Hello there

My friend Art DiLarso worked w/ Triumph along w/ Bob Carpenter Racing Berlin NJ on the Castrol streamliner... Guy Martin... Carpenters developed, built the twin 1453cc Rocket III turbo triples ... 553hp each... the year Martin was in the seat. the salt falts were in the worst shape ever for speed trials ... a shame.. ..Carpenters also set records at Atco ..Rovcket III "Silver back" ran a 8.99 in the quarter for the cruiser catageory ..they also developed a street kitted Rocket III turbo 1100 HP... as well as Rocket III 243 and 265 HP kits .. I rode the 245 kitted Rocket III.. laid waste to everything in it's path . V4S, BMW S1000RR..frightening straight line NO modern day motorcycle could touch it.. the 265 kitted Rocket was even quicker ... wheelie in third, 4th gear at will.. Few CZcamss videos of Art and Carpenter racing Rocket III "Sliver Back" at the now defunct Atco dragway in NJ..We saw the Moto 2 Daytona 765 .. Triumphs held that model in secrecy , nobody knew what the had coming out ....We saw before anyone else in the TRIUMPH factory Tractor-trailer Carpenters... we we're hoping for a large bore Daytona w/ 1300ccs.. nope.. instead they came out w/ an $18K carboned replica parts bin special .... MISTAKE ! Check oyut Carpenter Racing ..CZcamss Carpenter Racing RocketIIII silver back at Atco raceway
