- Four-time Formula 1 champion Sebastian Vettel, who last took victory at the Nürburgring in 2013 in his RB7, came to the Nürburgring with a clear mission, because motorsport only has a promising future if it is adapted to future challenges. That's why Vettel also supports the "Race without a trace" campaign and for around the Nordschleife in his former world champion's car converted to e-fuel:
"Motorsport is my great passion and I want to preserve the sport. Fuels can be produced synthetically in the laboratory and serve as a substitute fuel. And even with an engine like a Formula 1 engine, which has so much power and is so special, you can make these fuels and put them in 1 to 1. Synthetically produced fuel may not be the only solution, but it is part of the solution. It's important that we all realize that we need to do something. And the great thing is: You don't feel a difference in the car; it's just as much fun."

Good to see Sebastian back on the Course even if its in a Red Bull instead of a Mercedes Silver Arrow
Also ich muss sagen, dass ich es schrecklich fand. Keiner der Fahrer (außer 10 min der Seb) haben Autogramme gegeben. Die meisten hat man nur ganz kurz im Auto 3 mal vorbeifahren gesehen. Es war überall ein unglaubliches Gedränge, weil für die Veranstaltung viel zu viele Tickets verkauft wurden. Und auf dem ganzen Gelände, gab es für die Fans gerade mal 4 Sonnenschirme, man stand über eine Stunde an den Getränken und Essenständen an, sodass über 20 mal der Krankenwagen kommen musste, weil laufend jemand umgegangen ist. In das Padock musste man auch ewig in der Hitze, dicht gedrängt anstehen um einen kurzen Blick auf die Autos zu bekommen. Also für mich und auch viele andere, mit denen wir uns unterhalten haben, war das keine tolle Veranstaltung. Aber anscheinend darf darüber nur positiv berichtet werden.... Wirklich schade! Und für alle die Sebs Nordschleifenrunde so toll fanden, der ist leider nur hinter nem Safetycar hergefahren.... das haben die hier sehr gut zusammengeschnitten, sodass es aussieht als ob er volle Pulle gefahren ist....
Ganz deiner Meinung, NLS war super, aber das Geld für das Red Bull "Event" hätte man sich sparen können.
Klingt ja leider nicht gut organisiert. Autogramne von den Stars hätte ich ehrlich gesagt nicht erwartet, aber das zumindest die elementaren Dinge wie eben genügend Stände vorhanden sind.
Und ich hatte tatsächlich überlegt dorthin zufahren.

Ich bin voll deiner Meinung! Hab mir die Füße an der NOS platt gestanden um für ein paar Sekunden ein F1 Auto hinter einem Safety Car hinterherfahren zu sehen. Wie jämmerlich 👎 Zum Glück hab ich kein Geld dafür bezahlt 😊

When he turned left instead to go the long way around gave me literal chills! Also the saftey Car in there sweating driving on the limit to try and set a good pace for Vettel and he is there waving to everyone. Just shows what a beast of machinery this is!

F1 needs Vettel back on grid, WE need Vettel back on grid...it still feels weird watching and him not lining up it just doesn't feel right. I hope there's some truth to the Mercedes seat or hell even Audi when they enter but I feel like if he doesn't get a seat by next year 2025 jumping back in in 2026 would make a decent comeback even harder and I'd hate to see Seb struggling, similar to when Schu came back to Merc it was hard to watch.
What a brilliant car from the last of the great F1 days. And it's got the original decals and paint colour instead of the shit of today. Great Job Seb 😊👍
