- Join Dee & Ant for this very special episode, as we explore the world heritage listed and deep cultural space of Kakadu National Park. We were lucky enough to experience this sacred land during NAIDOC week and were lucky enough to experience a deep cultural immersion with several elders and families. The memories made here will remain with us for ever.
If you ever hear that Kakadu is not worth visiting, please reconsider as it was one of our favourite destinations across Australia.

Nice work guys. Did NT in May. Your footage in Ubirr bought back great memories. It truly is a spiritual place. Did Cahills crossing in my Pajero Sport drove to a locked gate and turned around.
Look forward to your next episode. ♡
Love both Kakadu and Litchfield I don’t think you can compare them they are completely different. Love watching your stuff thanks you 2!
That bird you heard was a Curlew 👍🏻 loving the content
Thank you!
Great spot guys...wish I was up that way now...shitting weather here in Melbs 🙄
Been following you guys for a while now.
And I am enjoying your videos
Especially the videos which I think is the best photography and filming I’ve watched
Awesome.
Happiest to watch more of your adventures ahead
Thanks Matthew! We love hearing this feedback
Personal opinion, Lichfield over Kakadu, I lived in Kakadu from the mid 80s to the mid 90s and its nothing like it used to be.
To get out to Ubir or as it was then Obiri was a dirt road.
Mavis should ditch that strap and invest in a leather one from ‘Lucky Straps’. Throw it across the shoulder and you can walk miles without worrying about neck pain
You said you had issues with the van. What were they?
Anything major on your trip around.
Hi Sean, a few minor things like gas struts failing etc but Jawa alway expressed posted parts to our next destination. A couple of minor issues with silicone but the major issue was the giant battery which was replaced under warranty. Other than that she was a beauty of a van for where we took her. 😊
