    DETAILS FROM KSPEED:
    Introducing the next generation KSpeed ProRace Ride Plate, specifically designed for the new Kawasaki Ultra 310 Jetskis equipped with the KSRD system. Building upon the overwhelming success and positive global feedback of our original KS1 ride plate, we've re-engineered and refined the design to accommodate the cutting-edge Braking/Reverse system featured on the latest Ultra 310 models. This has included significant alteration to the angle to take best advantage of the new centre of gravity.
    After returning to the CAD drawings and extensive development, our team has spent the last six months rigorously testing the new prototype in various water conditions. The result is a ride plate that outperforms its predecessors, offering a perfect blend of offshore and high-speed performance, combined with improved handling in rough water conditions, thanks to the lower center of gravity.
    Repeated testing has shown a repeatable 2-3mph gain in top speed on a stage 2 equipped 2022 ultra 310LXS with a full tank of fuel. Your results may vary.
    Key Features:
    KSRD System Compatibility: Our re-designed KS3 ProRace Ride Plate seamlessly integrates with the new Braking/Reverse system on the latest Kawasaki Ultra 310 Jetskis, ensuring top performance without compromising functionality.
    Enhanced Offshore Performance: The new ride plate design surpasses the previous KS1 plate in offshore capabilities, delivering exceptional stability and handling even in challenging water conditions.
    Superior Speed: Experience faster performance than the previous KS1 & KS2 plates, thanks to the refined hydrodynamic design of the new KS3 ProRace Ride Plate.
    Superior Handling and Cornering: The innovative design features a deep center skeg and channels for exceptional traction in turns and improved straight-line stability at high speeds.
    Quick Planing and Acceleration: The extended length and optimized trim angle provide rapid planing and enhanced acceleration for a competitive edge on the water.
    Reduced Porpoising: Our ride plate minimizes porpoising, ensuring a smoother, more enjoyable ride.
    Race-Proven Performance: Developed with advanced hydrodynamic technology, our ProRace Ride Plate delivers increased top speed, rapid acceleration, and exceptional handling in both offshore and closed course races.
    Extensively Tested and Proven: After three months of comprehensive testing in various water conditions, we're proud to offer a ride plate that sets a new standard for Kawasaki Jetski performance.
    IJSBA Race Legal: Compliant with IJSBA regulations, this ride plate is the ultimate choice for competitive riders.
    Upgrade your Kawasaki Ultra 310 Jetski with the next generation KS3 ProRace Ride Plate and experience unparalleled performance, speed, and handling. Dominate the waves with confidence and embrace the full potential of your Jetski.

    Great plate! First ride on it you’ll instantly feel it pushes more of the ski out of the water. It’s like driving a forby once you’ve installed a lift kit 😂 as a result I’ve noticed it’s a slightly drier ride too 👌🏻

    • @JDsWaterWorld
      @JDsWaterWorld  Před měsícem +2

      Your comment about the lift kit definitely rings true..it's amazing how much higher the ski rides at the bow- it's a much drier and smoother ride in the chop

    @BrisbaneKawasaki I have had the KS3 plate for a few months. I have the heavier LX. My ski is now a couple MPH faster than the friends I ride with; RXP-X 300 and GTX Limited 300 both with SCOM's. With this heavier ski and, maybe my heavier weight, I had only ever maxed out at about 14-14.5 psi of boost and around 7800 RPM. With the KS3 plate, I now regularly get 15-15.5 psi and 7900-8000 RPM.

      Yeah I noticed a major difference with the plate, it completely changes the ride!

      @@JDsWaterWorldwhy does the supercharger “Push” more & allow a higher rpm? I put plates on my old stand up back in the day (when I was young). The last time I replaced plates on any ski. They definitely changed the ride. Allowed higher speeds (Presumably) only proven by riding against others. No factual data for me to prove that. But it certainly improved the ride.

    • @brianc2242
      @brianc2242 Před 12 dny

      @@scotthooper4170 It isn't the supercharger that allowed more RPM, it is the ski being further out of the water, equating to less drag on the machine. Since the supercharger is a direct drive with a belt, the max boost is tied directly to the RPM of the motor. The new plate means less drag on the ski, which means it is easier to hit higher RPM's, which means higher boost.

    Look forward to the ride review!! My baby is going under the knife in a few weeks when I get back in town. I'm not sure how you managed to get your dealer to give you that wire harness but mine absolutely refused to!! You have more pull than I do! My audio controlled shit the bed and they wouldn't give me that part either under warranty. I did speak to the service manager about it all and hopefully everything will turn out ok. He stated they have already done 4 wire harness replacements on the 22 Ultra LX's.

      It's an International recall, if they look up your HIN it will allow them to order the parts for free from Kawasaki and they even get paid (not much) to fit them for you.
      Amplifier isn't a recall, but it's well known that lots are needing replacement. Just hit and miss on that part, if the ski in under warranty it should be a breeze.
      If you have no luck at dealer level, go higher.

    Great video JD.. hey the ks1 ride plate is such a big difference in performance compared whit the ks3? and what is better the ride plate or the intake grate, Which one you'll feel better performance.i'm want both, but little by little.. WHICH ONE I SHOULD BUY FIRST??too spencive for me to get both at the same time 😊

      @JDsWaterWorld  Před 28 dny +1

      Well for the 2022+ Ultra 160 and 310 the KS3 plate is your only option at the moment- and it combines the best aspects of Kspeed's previous models. I noticed the most immediate change in handling and performance from the Ride plate. The intake grate doesn't necessarily improve speed- it does however help keep the pump loaded better in the chop. If I had to chose one, it would be the KS3 Ride plate- it's incredible and provides a very noticeable improvement to the ski's ride
