- I am so glad you guys introduced me to Tyler a couple of years ago. These reuploads are a trip down memory lane, for the music and for the look back at my former editing style (note: i cut a lot of my commentary out of the earlier videos).

Well I'm sure glad you reuploaded this, I love Tyler and he's the voice Appalachia has needed for so long, I love seeing other people enjoy him.
I love his performance ... it's hard to be so engaging at this level of minimalism and boy he does he ever do it so well! Thanks again Don, can't wait for the next one of these gems from the archives.
Yea Tyler has that Midas touch. Have you had a chance to check out his Whispering Beard performance of Charleston Girl? Love that laid back live performance.
Not a lot has come about Tyler’s raising but I have the same kind of curiosity. We do know he seems to have had a pretty normal upbringing in East Kentucky. Dad was in the coal mines, mom was a nurse. Has a couple of brothers that I know of but not sure the order or age gaps. Biggest clue about influence I’ve found is he started singing at an early age at a Free Will Baptist Church. Great reaction.
What a wonderful story and voice it's amazing how some people can just get the words and make it sound wonderful just with a guitar as a backup I like it 💯
Hi Don, another great video and reaction/rating. I love Tyler and would like to suggest another Tyler song that I don't believe you've reacted to yet. It is called "Country Squire" and is an uptempo/ humorous very traditional country song ,( yes, Tyler does occasionally do those songs he is not always so morose and contemplative).
