So im a new subscriber and love your videos. Ive watched almost all of them and that made me wonder. How many Mk4 Golfs do you have ath the moment? Also do you still have that 1.6 16v Golf you bought recently because that's the engine i have in mine too.
Welcome to the channel glad you're digging the videos. No I sold that one when I got my T4 last year. It had a dodgy cylinder I was having major problems with it.
Currently got the MK4 GTI and Mk5 1.9 TDI plus the T4.
Im sure you'll get everything going eventually. You just ran into some faulty cd players. Got to have patience and it'll all work out. At least you have a nice radio for now. Wonder if the cassette player works? Not sure if you even care about cassettes. Cassettes are cool but the tape wears out over time anyway. Can't wait to see the finished job. ✌
I'm having a bad run on CD players 4 in a row 🤣 oh I love cassettes but they have a tendency to chew my favourite ones up, I'm on the hunt for building the tape collection up anyways 💯
Looks so much better. I do miss the blue and red from my MK4 Golf. I have a 2016 Polo GTI now. That’s white and red at night. It’s nice. But there’s just something special about these older VW’s
The way nature intended 👌💯 yeah we have a polo the same shape, the white and red just seems modern generic 😔
@@meatmanifesto yeah exactly. The most recent VW’s they’ve gone to all white now 🤔 I’ll definitely have another MK4 one day. Saying that, all the good ones look like they’ve started to go up in value
Modern cars do absolutely nothing for me I must be honest.
You've got to be quick to snag a cheap one, but they do show up.
@@meatmanifesto yeah I get what you mean. a lot of VW’s stuff is boring I find now. Polos and Golf’s are now 5 door only. And the new Polo GTI is DSG only. I wouldn’t have a brand new one. Older VW’s have more character
