After getting kicked out of my first apartment in Paris, moving into a sublet for a few months, and scouring every apartment hunting website I could find DAILY for 3-4 months (y'all, it's a process) I finally found my place. Hey guys! I’m Tiff - a lover of food, travel, and good vibes. After traveling to Italy when I was 16, I made a promise to myself that I would live abroad before I was 30. And I made it happen! In 2017, I tapped out of my PRgirl lifestyle to pursue an MBA in Paris. Yes, Paris! The timing was all too perfect. Jumping out of my comfort zone and moving to Paris, was the scariest thing that I’ve done in life thus far, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I love food and I love to cook so I've always gravitated to larger kitchens. I live in the southeast US and I love the excess of space that comes with it but after studying abroad in Spain and watching videos like these, there's something really comforting in the minimalistic design of common European living. You get the space you need. You learn to just keep what you need. _Eso es todo_
Si si! Only have what we need! That's how Europeans live well..they pay for experiences and travel and fun BC their living styles are minimalist.

Hi, Tiff--you did a great job finding that apartment and making it your own. Love the fireplaces! Even though it is small (by American standards :) it has all the conveniences. I've seen some pretty crummy Parisian apartments for more $ on youtube. No toilet down the hall for this girl! I've rented vacation apartments in the 7th and the 11th. The 11th apt. was a 5th floor walk-up so I can relate. I would stop on the 4th level and see the door to the apt and say, just one more level, I can do this--lol.
Hey! Yeah, it's crazy - when I was on the hunt I saw places for a lot more than mine too that were tinyyyy so I'm glad to have found something decent! Lol yeah girl, this 5th floor walk up is no joke I am 100% the same, except it's more like I'm out of breath by level 3 and have to tell myself only 2 more flights to go, HA!
Not small by NYC standards. I live in smaller places in NYC 😊

It’s a top notch apart by NYC standards and basically free for just $1200!! Lolol I mean a washer AND towel warmer?? I bet she could dry her clothes there also. And then it’s an old build with gorgeous features like crown moldings...I am in awe!

Ahhh really! So interesting - I’ve started to drink red wine now and can handle it in small amounts. I also think a lot had to do with stress/anxiety 😓

I sympathize with your inability to tolerate alcohol. I also am very allergic to wine, which causes my throat to swell up. Very scary! I cannot drink other kinds of alcohol which causes me to have serious sinus symptoms. When I decline a drink, people usually pressure me anyway to take one. I get really tired of explaining why I can’t. I wish they would just accept that I don’t want a drink and drop it. Very frustrating. I hope you don’t get that treatment! Love your apartment and love even more that you are there, in Paris enjoying your young life❣️

Your Apt is so cute and definitely great for one person. I hate walk-ups HOWEVER you have a balcony, washer and amazing sunlight! Yassss. There's no way you'd pay such little money for ALL THAT in NYC.
You really got lucky with that apartment (except for all the stairs). People should realize that there are many gorgeous cities in France where you can get twice the apartment for half the price or less.

Your apartment is terrific! I'm so happy for you. Two of the first places I lived out of college had kitchens that were tiny. As a result, even though I now have a decent size kitchen, I can do with a very small space to cook a decent meal. You are lucky to have the clothes washer!!!
