Great vid!
Cost comparison is really interesting!

Thanks for doing this comparison. Having both can be useful, it seems.
Definitely worth having both - it’s win win!
We have them both. Open Roads has very few near our home, Techno RV slightly better so we use them mostly in state. Haven’t taken a big trip since having both to compare. Planning an Alaska trip next year. Wish they worked in Canada
Yes definitely helps to expand the network by having both - curious where you call home that techno has better options?
Let us know if you find any tips for Alaska or Canada!
Home is Minnesota. We don’t seem to have as many Loves which is part of it. Where we often camp weekends there is one Loves on the way, but 2 Techno options.
Ok yeah we found a lack of open roads on the Wisconsin side of our trip around Lake Michigan too..
Update, just this weekend several that we’ve used the Techno RV card at in mid-northern MN no longer show in the app. Aldo this weekend numerous new Open Roads appeared in their app a long a route we frequently take.
Listen I don’t have a diesel but I’m watching due to my interest in perhaps going diesel. Appreciate your details 🏁 some advice on content; Talk to us about your truck, towing mpg’s at what speed on avg; how it climbs etc.. and stay consistent with MPG’@ mph? We see your wife drives also … keep the content coming..
Sure thing we will talk more about the truck going forward - I can tell you we are always on cruise control at 65mph while we tow and across 9 states we pretty much average 11mpg - it’s a ram 3500 Dually and it’s got plenty power for inclines - usually not going beyond 3 RPMs!
